The Nidecker Megalight Snowboard is a precision-engineered rocket built for riders who crave speed, float, and next-level tech. Surfy Camrock – Features extended rocker at the nose and regular camber through the rest of the board. Together with a shorter tail, it allows you to glide over bumps or pow and initiate turns off the back foot for a unique, surf-like ride.
Flex Rating – 8 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)
Pow Diffuser – 3D channels at the tail of the board improve glide in deep snow and funnel spray efficiently out from the base like an exhaust. Pow slashes have never been this much fun!
Zero_G Nose – Nidecker completely removed the wood from a section of the nose and replaced it with forged carbon to generate featherweight, effortless float in deep snow.
3DN Concept – The next level in construction. A 3D-milled core profile between the inserts lets you flex the board more precisely under each foot, delivering the ultimate feeling of control and a unique three dimensional riding experience.
Mega Core – The most advanced core in Nidecker's line is made from a premium blend of poplar and paulownia. Vertical layers of glass fiber reinforce each stringer to reinforce the flex and add explosive, lifelong snap.
Triax Plus – Fiberglass is woven in three directions at 45° for max stiffness. The result of extensive testing, Triax Plus uses different glass densities above and below the core to deliver more consistent torsional flex, better pop, and lightning response.
N-Tech 2.0 Construction – Nidecker's most advanced manufacturing process combines elements of cap and sandwich construction while shaving weight in the middle of the board. The result is a powerful flex from tip to tail that still allows precise torsional feel and edge control.
Carbon Cell – A forged carbon section at the heart of the board keeps it ultra stable between your feet and turbocharges response.

The all new configuration combines traditional straps with a reclining highback and automatic closure system. Simply drop your boot in from above, step down, and a heel pedal automatically snaps the highback and straps shut to lock you in for the ride. Carbon Auto Base
Heel Pedal – The heel pedal activates the automatic closing of the hiback and straps, and locks the engagement system. This mechanism is self-cleaning to avoid snow build-up, and there are three engagement clicks for increased security.
Release Lever – Push to unlock the engagement system and lift your boot up & out. The release lever is located on the medial side of the baseplate for maximum ergonomic effi ciency and protection from external triggers.
Heelcup Roller – The heelcup roller reduces friction and guides the heel of the boot down, for buttery-smooth entry and exit.
Slip-N-Grip Plate – Reduces friction with the outsole of your snowboard boot. Allows you to easily slide in and out, without compromising the underfoot comfort of 2.5° Bankbeds.

Active Strap – As you recline the hiback, the footstrap gets actively lifted out of the way, so you can easily and conveniently get your boot in and out. The straps hug your boot with the tightness at which you first set them, each & every time you drop in.
LSR 2.0 Auto-Lock Carbon – Locking Slap Ratchet buckles lock down to secure your preferred footstrap tightness. Either Set-it and Forget-it for the Automatic mode, or just use them like regular buckles for the two-strap experience.
Drop In Technology – This technology was developed to allow easy opening and closure in complete safety. Multiple notches allow the binding to lock shut from the first click; there are three in total, which allow closure even if obstructed by snow accumulation. Just in case you’re in steep or off-camber terrain...or waist deep powder.

Lots of features like a Gold Asym Heat moldable liner and 3D molded toe box and tongue provide a super customizable fit that lasts even after you break your boots in. Exo-Spine technology reinforces the flex to provide power transfer and support, while an Armor Tech outer shell lets you ride in any weather, even the rain.

Exo./ Spine – Exo-Spine Technology is an external backstay designed to be a reinforced link between the different parts of the boot and deliver an instantaneous transfer of force from heel to toe. It also offers extra stiffness for optimal support, as well as increased durability and resistance to shocks.
3D Molded Toe Box – These toebox designs eliminate extra layers and seams around the toe of the boot to create a durable and streamlined design with less bulk and a better FlowFit on your foot, and a better FlowFit in your bindings.
3D Molded Tongue – The asymmetrical tongue is 3D molded and curved towards the medial side, following the naturally raised ridgeline of your forefoot to alleviate pressure points and give a more balanced feel of comfort and support. An anatomically correct and asymmetrical tongue performs better than a standard straight one.

Gold-Level ASYM Thermo Heat Moldable Liner – This sleekly redesigned Gold-Level ASYM Thermo Heat Moldable liner who features a new asymmetrical wrap closure function this year, in addition to the Ripper-lacing closure harness, that give you the possibility to tighten the upper and lower parts separately, in one movement, even when your boot is closed up. The pinnacle of comfort and support, the Gold-Level ASYM Thermo Heat Moldable is even more fully customizable to the form of your foot with the wrap closure system. This liner features high-density thermo foam, an extra padded comfort-cuff and tongue, a neoprene custom flex-zone toebox, internal multi-layer latex J-bars and external J-bars plus, heel and tibia Eva reinforcement panels for optimal support and superior heel-hold.

Asym 3F – Part of the ASYM3F Technology : FIT - FEEL - FLEX are combined in an asymmetric shape and closure system that delivers optimum support and flex. Lined up along the asymmetrical molded tongue, the Boa® Fit System lace guides are also asymmetrically positioned on the flatter areas of your forefoot for less point-loaded pressure and a more even closure, which increases medial arch support to reduce foot fatigue and cramping. This Nidecker innovation is codeveloped with and approved by Boa®.
