Not a featherweight weight weenie choice, but a "reasonalbly" light wider touring ski that stands its ground any time the going gets gnarly, the Moment Wildcat Tour 108 Skis are meant to slay the downhill no matter how heinous the snow conditions. Built with Moment's standard edges and base and their proven Mustache Rocker profile, the Wildcat Tour is strong enough that many skiers choose to use it inbounds as well.

Rocker Type
Rocker-Camber-Rocker – Rocker at the tip and tail and camber underfoot allows for incredible float and maneuverability in the trees and chutes while maintaining a significant amount of edge hold for both the icy runouts and the groomers.
Core
Paulownia / Ash Wood Core – Full length, knot free, vertically laminated in house. Our unique touring oriented core offers unrivaled energy in an ultralight package. No hollow dead feeling here. The real deal, just light on its feet so you can go back for more.
Laminates
Lowfat Layup – A combination of custom lighter triaxial, carbon fiber designed to compliment Moment's touring cores makes the uphill easier without sacrificing fun on the way back down.
Sidewalls
ABS Sidewall – Extruded sidewalls constructed of modified Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene (ABS) provide stiffness, dampening, durability. Allow for more impact resistance and easier repairs that stay put so you can bring the abuse year after year, season after season.
Base
7500 Series Carbon Base – Carbon infused sintered UHMWPE (Ultra High Molecular Weight PolyEthylene). Harder, faster and with better wax absorption and retention than extruded bases this is the industry leader for performance and longevity.

2.2mm Rockwell 48C Edges – Additional heat treatment in house

These skis varry in width from wide, powder-oriented skis for skiing Alaska spines to narrower, mixed condition skis for ripping the beat up headwall at your local mountain. Skis in this category tend to be on the stiffer side, often with more rocker in the tip and less in the tail. Alpine Touring Also known as backcountry skis, alpine touring (AT) skis are designed for going uphill as well as downhill. These skis are typically light for their width and many feature fittings that accept climbing skins. AT skis vary in width and weight, with the wider heavier versions usually used for winter/deep snow touring and the skinnier, lighter skis usually used for spring/summer/long distance touring.

Rocker/Camber/Rocker Rocker/Camber/Rocker skis have the playfulness and float of a rockered ski as well as the added edge hold of a cambered ski. The contact points on skis with this profile are closer towards the middle of the ski than a fully cambered ski, but still not underfoot. The cambered midsection provides a longer effective edge on hardpack, increasing edge hold and stability, while the rockered tip and tail provide floatation in deeper snow and allow the ski to initiate and release from turns easier.
