Völkl M7 Mantra Skis 2025

We thought you'd stand up and take notice; that new number in back of the "M" means something. In this case, it's an entirely re-designed version of the iconic missile you've known and loved for years. What's changed in the Völkl M7 Mantra Skis? Lots. The shape of the Tailored Titanal Frame has been tweaked, the Tailored Carbon Tip designed has been elongated, and the ski sports a new Four Radius Drive sidecut. What, 4 different radii? You got it. The new ski is a little less "stubborn" at lower and medium speeds or in tricky snow but still has plenty of guts and stability when you're really moving, and we think it's a winner.

Product Details

Rocker Type

Tip & Tail RockerBends up only in the shovel and tail zones, with a camber shape in the middle.

Shape

4 Radius DriveA new sidecut with 4 distinct radii where they're most effective. ~20m in the shovel for quick turn initiation, ~40m between shovel and binding for stability at speed, ~15m under the bindings for agility and ~25m behind the bindings for a dynamic finish to your turns

Core

Multilayer WoodcoreA combination of beech and poplar results in an extremely durable wood core composed of hard wood in the binding area and lighter wood surrounding it.

Laminates

Tailored Carbon TipsIn this innovative manufacturing process the new Tailored Carbon Tips are produced by embroidering the individual carbon fibers onto a carrier material. This allows them to be positioned exactly along the stress lines, opening up completely new possibilities, for performance at the front of the ski, which has a decisive influence on handling.

Tailored Titanal FrameThe size of the frames is tailored to the skier's height, skiing ability and power. This means that longer ski models have a higher titanal content for more stiffness, more direct power transmission and stronger dampening. The shorter the length, the lower the titanal content, which makes the ski more agile, so that smaller, lighter and less powerful skiers can use the full potential performance of the ski.

Titanal Binding Platform

Sidewalls

Full SidewallDirect and strong power transmission with full length sidewalls.

Base

P-Tex 2100A sintered high-density and high molecular weight polyethylene base with great gliding characteristics and high durability.

Binding Compatibility

We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

Look Pivot 14 GW Ski Bindings 2025

The classic Look Pivot 14 GW Ski Bindings are the go-to choice of committed skiers worldwide, and known for their reliability and consistency of release. Look's elasticity is the best in the business, the turntable heel offers bombproof lateral security, and the shortened mounting pattern lets the ski flex as freely as possible. If classic design and superior retention are important to you, the few dollars more you'll spend for the Pivot 14 won't warrant a second thought.

Product Details

Toe Piece

Full Action Toe | 45 mm ElasticityFeaturing 45mm of elastic travel and 180⁰ multi-directional release, the Full Action toe piece delivers best-in-class retention and release and increased coupling strength (boot-to-binding interface) for maximum power transmission.

180˚ Multi-Directional ReleaseA true mechanical upward release that functions independently from the heel for the most effective multi-directional protection in the case of a fall.

Dual Standard Concept (ISO 5355 Alpine and GripWalk)Look strategically reinforced the toe housing, increased the toe ramp, elongated the toe-wings, and created a toe that is compatible with both ISO 5355 Alpine and GripWalk soles.

Heel Piece

28mm Vertical Elasticity28mm of elasticity in the heel (the most of any binding on the market) yields a reduction in unwanted pre-releasing.

Turntable HeelLook’s unique turntable design rotates directly under the tibia for reduced risk of injury and provides 28mm of elastic travel to deliver unmatched shock absorption for significant reduction of pre-release.

Additional Features

Smaller Mounting ZoneThe shortest mounting zone of any alpine binding available provides less swing weight, improved response, and a deeper, rounder, more consistent ski flex.

7 Points of ContactMore points-of-contact with the boot results in increased lateral energy transmission, drives more power to the edge of the ski and provides superior control, response, and snow feel.

Rolling ControlLook binding components are designed to deliver industry-leading roll coupling strength (boot-to-binding interface). This ensures minimal roll before the boot engages the binding for the most efficient power transmission in skiing.

Ski Compatibility

We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
