They've kept the name of the best-selling women's ski of all time, but redesigned the ski from the ground up. The Blizzard Black Pearl 88 Skis feature a new W.S.D. (Women Specific Design) Trueblend Flipcore Core of Beech and Poplar woods, and a freshly shaped top laminate of Titanal that's separated into two pieces instead of a single sheet. Bottom line, though, is the best selling women's ski of all time is as good as ever and accessible to an even wider audience than before.
Rocker Camber Rocker – Ski profile with rocker at the tip and tail, camber in the middle. Reducing the pressure on the edge at the tip and tail makes the ski even easier to handle and increases flotation on powder snow. The camber guarantees great grip on packed snow.
TrueBlend W.S.D. All Mountain Core – TrueBlend core of Beech with seven stringers of Poplar, tailor-made for each length of ski, using lighter Women's Specific Design woods.
Two-Piece W.S.D. Titanal Laminate for Grip and Stability – No longer a single sheet of Titanal, the 2025 Black Pearl uses a two-piece laminate with a sheet of fiberglass in between the layers. The upper layer of metal resembles the shape of the FluxForm Titanal layer in the Sheeva skis and the lower layer fills in the gap in the center.
Sandwich Compound Sidewall – All Blizzard skis with the exception of some junior skis are built with ABS or Phenol sidewalls for superior performance (stability, power transmission, handling) and durability.
Sintered Graphite Base
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

Look is bringing the greatness of the legendary Pivot design to the masses with all new 11 and 13 DIN versions replacing the "12." The regular stuff applies - absolute lateral security at the heel, outstanding elasticity and the shortest mounting footprint in the business - but now there's a DIN range suitable for women and 'tweens with the Look Pivot 2.0 11 GW Ski Bindings. An outstanding addition to the Pivot lineup.
180˚ Multi-Directional Release – A true mechanical upward release that functions independently from the heel for the most effective multi-directional protection in the case of a fall.
Full Action Toe | 45 mm Elasticity – Featuring 45mm of elastic travel and 180⁰ multi-directional release, the Full Action toe piece delivers best-in-class retention and release and increased coupling strength (boot-to-binding interface) for maximum power transmission.
Dual Standard Concept (ISO 5355 Alpine and GripWalk) – Look strategically reinforced the toe housing, increased the toe ramp, elongated the toe-wings, and created a toe that is compatible with both ISO 5355 Alpine and GripWalk soles.
Toe Lateral Elasticity – 45 mm
Turntable Heel – Look’s unique turntable design rotates directly under the tibia for reduced risk of injury and provides 28mm of elastic travel to deliver unmatched shock absorption for significant reduction of pre-release.
28mm Vertical Elasticity – 28mm of elasticity in the heel (the most of any binding on the market) yields a reduction in unwanted pre-releasing.
Smaller Mounting Zone – The shortest mounting zone of any alpine binding available provides less swing weight, improved response, and a deeper, rounder, more consistent ski flex.
7 Points of Contact – More points-of-contact with the boot results in increased lateral energy transmission, drives more power to the edge of the ski and provides superior control, response, and snow feel.
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
