The Sampler is super fast -- like one of the fastest boards in the game -- with a high riding glide, center rocker, aggressive Merrick-style hip and a squashed tail. The result? A lightning quick board capable of laying tight trannys and stomping big airs. Suitable for intermediate to advanced surfers, the Channel Islands Sampler 5'9" 5-Fin Surfboard should be sized a little shorter and wider than your typical shortboard.

Concave – Flat, racy entry and center rocker, with ample curve out the tail for tight transitions and airs. A generous single concave runs the whole length of the board, with a slight double within the single between the fins, and just a little vee to provide kick off the tail.
Outline – The outline is full, but sleek in the front half, with an exaggerated and slightly forward of normal Merrick hip, and a wide old-school squash tail.
