Based on the shape of Gentemstick's phenomenally good Rocket Fish HP snowboard, this powder surfer delivers some serious flow to your bindingless exploits. The Gentemstick The Powderstick Pow Surfer has the exact same shape as the Rocket Fish HP, but a totally unique construction. The Powderstick has no edges, no base, and no core. It's just a meticulously honed and beautifully crafted hull of bamboo and fiberglass that's designed to skim across untracked snow, spray plumes of cold smoke, and surf the earth in a way you've never before experienced.

Accel Camber | 4 mm – Gentemstick’s radical acceleration camber eliminates hooking and prevents nosedives in deep powder or fresh snow while maintaining natural flotation. It is designed and shaped to perform its best when the rider stands neutrally on top of a board. It is flat from the widest point of the nose to about the front foot. The arch begins there and reaches it's highest point around the back foot, and it ends at the widest point of the tail. When a rider stands on the board, the arch flexes and the area ahead of the front foot rises for more lift in deeper snow.

Powder Powder snowboards love powder. Often associated with freeride snowboards, powder boards sometimes feature a wider nose and a tapered narrower tail. The binding inserts, which determine the rider's stance, are often set back on a powder snowboard to help the rider float the tip of the board through the deep stuff. Powder snowboards sometimes also feature rocker, a design element where the tip (and tail) rise starts farther back on the board, which also helps the rider maintain tip float through the pow.

Soft The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
