Tighten your britches and hang onto your hat, the all new K2 Recon Pro Ski Boots are ready to unseat the Recon 130 as the top dog of K2's high end inbound boot lineup. Like the rest of the line, the Recon Pro's are super lightweight, especially given how burly and powerful they are. For this model, K2 has put in a brand new PowerFit Pro liner, and added a Power Plate to the tongue section to bump the flex index up to a whopping 140. Add it all up and you've got a ripper of a boot with plenty of power to charge the resort aggressively, coming in at a featherlight weight to keep you nimble on your feet.
Fast Fit Entry – Softer TPU designed into the instep area of Powerlite shell for quick and easy entry and exit.

Made with four different stiffnesses of TPU and optimized wall thickness profiling, the Powerlite Shell achieves a paradoxical balance of lightweight agility and power. The resulting boots weigh in as some of the lightest alpine and freeride on the market, yet they ski with all the power and drive of heavier boots.
PowerFuse SpYne – A rear co-injected “Y” shaped design that adds strength and power to the Energy Interlock, the PowerFuse SpYne maximizes fore/aft flex efficiency and lateral stiffness for sustained performance and responsiveness in all terrain. Because of the SpYne, K2 is able to optimize materials in the cuff and shell, eliminating excessive vibrations in rough terrain.
Energy Interlock – A rivet-free technology that integrates the cuff and shell, putting less stress on the boot's material and produces a smoother, progressive flex.
Power Plate – The removable Power Plate sits underneath the top buckles of the boot for additional stiffness.
