The Rome Winterland Snowboard is the all-mountain powder hound hybrid you've been looking for. Its versatile, directional shape integrates three distinct rocker zones - a rockered nose transitions into a flat section under your front foot, with positive camber back to the tail, great for handling steeps, deeps, or tracked out mush. With a medium-firm flex, this board is perfect for taking on variable conditions at speed and still being able to play around on sidehits when you want to take it easy. Free-the-Ride Camber – Rockered in the nose, flat cambered under the front foot, and a cambered tail to float and slash.

SuperPop Core Matrix – The lightweight, super responsive core found in many of Rome's higher performing boards, this matrix features poplar for power and three zones of low-density wood for lightness.
Laminates
45/90 Carbon Hybrid Laminate – The 45 degree fibers deliver edge response and power, while the 90 degree fibers keep the feeling locked and loaded in the freestyle side of things. Carbon is added for pop and unmatched lightness.
Carbon Double Barrel TurboRods – This configuration features two free flexing carbon rods that start under both bindings and extend in straight lines towards the nose and tail. The result is pure, powerful pop and torsional response.

Medium The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
