The HKD is DCs top of the line board and is the lightest, most responsive board available from DC. The HKD is an all-mountain directional twin tip, that will conquer anything from the pipe to the pow. Specific to the HKD is DCs handmade Phantom core, which combines lightweight honeycomb with responsive vertically laminated poplar and obeche. The core also features DCs Dual Torsion Box with Kevlar and Carbon, a construction technique that provides shock absorption, vibration dampening, and great stability. HKD boards are wrapped with a durable yet lightweight 64.20 Bi-Ax laminate - totally bombproof. The HKD has a 7500 Sintered Base that is laser finished, firm, durable, and exceptionally fast.
