The Burton Family Tree Fish Snowboard is a necessity for any true soul shredder. The Fish has always bonded with Mother Nature, so Burton used their high-performance, strong and poppy FSC™ Certified Super Fly ll™ 700G Core. On top of being environmentally-conscious, the Fish features a 30mm tapered nose, meaning it is significantly wider than the tail for epic, effortless float - even on the deepest days. Unmatched in strength and speed, the Sintered WFO base stays lightening fast, even if you forget wax day. A Jaws topsheet graphic is the cherry on top, summing up the Burton Family Tree Fish Snowboard's true mission...it's hungry for pow, get the picture?
Directional Flat Top – A flat baseline from the tail that expands just outside your front binding. This provides ample stability and control due to a greater surface area contacting the snow. The dominant flat area meets a rockered nose giving you the playfulness and float you need to surf deep days.
Directional Flex – This flex features increased pop in the tail and a resilient nose that allows riders to easily maintain control through all terrain and conditions.
Happy Medium – Ideal for riders who never want to be limited or held back. It provides you with turning precision and cush landings but isn't soft enough to make a fast ride feel squirrely.
Double Swallow Tail
Directional [30MM Taper] – A tapered directional shape means the nose is wider than the tail, and the sidecuts are not symmetrical. This combo promotes smooth and forgiving turns, stability - even at high speeds or crud conditions - and an insane float in deep snow.
Pro Tip™ – A tapered tip and tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility.
FSC™ Certified Super Fly ll™ 700G Core – Strong and lightweight woods target specific areas of the core to provide pop, strength and reduce weight. FSC™ certification ensures that the wood products are harvested from well-managed forests that provide environmental, social and economic benefits.
Dualzone™ EDG™ – The wood grain is positioned perpendicularly along the toe and heel edges. Engineered Grain Direction provides you with consistent edge-hold and added strength.
Carbon I-Beam™ – This ultra-lightweight carbon backbone increases pop and longitudinal snap.
Triax™ Fiberglass – This laminate gives the board an asymmetrical flex with lengthwise stiffness. The result is a board that remains smooth and stable.
Sintered WFO – Burton infused specially formulated wax deep into the pores of this extra-absorbent, high-density sintered material. The result is an ultra-durable base that stays fast and furious all season in any conditions.
Die-Cut Base – Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Family Tree Series – Renowned Japenese surfboard builder, Takuya "Tappy" Yoshikawa created the wildly colorful graphics for Burton's Family Tree series. Working with colored resins in-house at Burton's Vermont proto-shop, Tappy's designs came to life.
Infinite Ride™ – Burton-exclusive technology allows for maximum pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Whether you choose to ride Springloaded, Rocker, or Camber, rest assured that your board will maintain its flex, pop, and feel from the first day forward, season after season.
The Channel™ – Stronger, faster, easier, and more adjustable - The Channel™ gives you ultimate control of your stance and your board in a design compatible with all major binding companies (not just Burton’s).
