A park board for the Chief Shredecutive Officer, the Bataleon Boss Snowboard is the C-level choice for riders who put their bacon on the line. It has the makings of a powerful park board, with traditional camber, a perfectly balanced twin shape, and a poppy wood core that's been enhanced with carbon. Its 3BT base not only locks into turns extremely well, but it lifts the catch-prone areas of your edges off boxes and rails, letting you lock in to slides and presses with the confidence of a boss.

Twin 3BT™ + SideKick™ – 3rd generation TWIN 3BT™ has the added benefit of SideKick. The base uplift angle is mellow becoming more dramatic at the widest areas of the board. It offers a loose jib feel while the wide centerbase makes it stable on takeoffs, landings, in presses and at high speeds. Designed for terrain parks and overall freestyle riding.

Laminates
Triax Laminate – Three-way weave of fiberglass is light, strong, and responsive. Bataleon uses this to beef up the flex pattern.
Carbon Stringers – Carbon is feather light and adds explosive pop, precise edge control, reactive response, and smooth dampening to a board. It is used in different ways to fine-tune a boards ride characteristics.
Central Super Tube – One centrally placed hollow carbon rod milled into the bottom of the core to enhance pop without stiffening the board torsionally.

ABS Solid Walls – Tried and trusted ABS sidewalls for the best flex to strength ratio.
Base
Ultra Glide S – Maximum molecular content for a hardened sintered base that hauls ass. More molecules mean a denser base that can take a beating using ISO-SPORT7000 series as backbone.
Flip Flop Base – Boards with Flip Flop bases have two or more base color variations. Bataleon uses this process to reduce waste.

Medium The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
