Is a beast of a rail mocking your talents? You've given up all hope that you won't wreck yourself on it? The Arbor Draft Snowboard would like to provide it's services to you. This jib mammoth is the go-to board for the Arbor Team when they want to keep style at a maximum and need pro-level rail support. "The System" True Rocker design takes everything that people hate about dominant rockers and turns it completely around. End result, a smooth ride that's got camber-like responsiveness and latches onto rails looks like an eagle picking up it's dinner. Slay the rails with the rest of the Arbor Team and pick up the Arbor Draft Snowboard.
The System - True Rocker – The System is Arbor's rocker platform. Rocker is created by replacing the lengthwise positive arc of a traditional camber snowboard with a reverse shape similar to the profile of a surfboard. The design eliminates the leverage required to release and re-engage a camber snowboard's outside contact points, creating a more seamless ride. Rocker delivers easier turn initiation, cleaner tracking across the snow, better float in powder, and more fluid spins and slides.
Flex Rating: 4 (1 Soft – 10 Stiff) – This snowboard has a soft-medium flex rating which is perfect for riders who don’t want to be held back in the park or powder. Soft-medium flex boards’ are responsive, easy to turn, playful and forgiving. This snowboard will love the rails, hot-park laps but never turns down fresh snow
True Twin – A true twin snowboard shape is ideal for riders who want to ride switch and do some tricks. The nose and tail are identical and the flex is evenly distributed throughout the entirety of the board. True twins are perfectly symmetrical.
Poplar Wood Core – Poplar wood cores are durable and lightweight. Snowboards made with Poplar are known to have a consistent and evenly distributed flex throughout.
Biax – Biax laminate consists of fiberglass that is braided in two directions. The fibers are braided vertically at 90 degrees. This ensures a torsional flex that is more evenly distributed throughout the snowboard. For you, this translates to a snowboard that is easy to handle and jib friendly.
Power Ply Top – Structural, performance enhancing real wood. Protective film laminated to the power ply tops contains 30% bio-plastic and eliminates the need for toxic clear coats.
Ply [topsheet] – Hand-dyed ash
360-Degree Full Wrap Sidewalls – Durability and impact resistance
Extruded Base – Polyethylene pellets are melted down in extreme heat then forced together under a high pressure machine. The end result is a strong, solid, and smooth base that is easy to maintain, non-porous and extremely durable.
