The Bataleon Japan Edition Toshiki Snowboard was inspired by the magical island of Hokkaido, Japan. A place renowned for its continuously deep conditions, the Japan Edition Toshiki Snowboard is just as at home in the pow as it is jibbing the natural hits of the mountain. With the sturdiness of the Boss and the versatile outline of the Whatever, the Bataleon Japan Edition Toshiki Snowboard is the perfect concoction for playfulness and powder.
Medium Camber
Twin 3BT + SideKick™ – This twin 3BT flavor comes with a wide centerbase and base uplift that begins at the binding edge. The base uplift angle is mellow and offers a relaxed jib feel. The wide centerbase aids stability on takeoffs, landings, and in presses. Designed for terrain parks and overall freestyle riding. The SideKick™ increases the sidebase uplift at the widest point of the nose and tail. Creating even smoother turn initiation and float in powder, this tech will keep you solid in rough terrain.

99% Twin Shape
Sidebase Uplift – Tip: Low Uplift | Tail: Low Uplift
Core Core – Full poplar with beech hardwood laid tip to tail along the inserts. The added beech stiffens the board's backbone and produces more pop from tip to tail while still offering a comfortable lateral flex.
Carbon Stringers – Carbon is feather light and adds explosive pop, precise edge control, reactive response and smooth dampening to a board.
Triax Laminate – Traditional three-way weave of fiberglass. Light, strong, and responsive.
Ultra Glide S – Maximum molecular content for a hardened sintered base that hauls ass. More molecules mean a denser base that can take a beating using ISOSPORT7000 series as a backbone.
Flip Flop Base – Flip-Flop bases improve board sustainability by reducing p-tex waste.

Ready to destroy the park and/or the parking lot? Grab a pair of the Switchback Destroyer Snowboard Bindings. A medium flex and midback highback will give you the freedom and stability to jib or butter anything in your path. Come on, you know you want to destroy...
Medium Flex
Origin – Switchback's proven base that flexes well with your board.
Boot to Board Full EVA Heel Pad – Footpad with full boot to board EVA under the heel bone.
Boot to Board Full EVA Toe Ramp – The adjustable toe padding works like a gas pedal and cushioning at the same time thanks to the dual density foam in the toe area. It's soft enough to cushion impact and firm enough to not lose power transferred to the toe edge.
Overmolded Extruded Aluminum Heelcup – This heel enforcement is overmolded inside the heel cup to form an indestructible bond. Switchback is the first binding company to use this technology to create a unique blend of materials, offering an optimal combination of weight, strength, and flex.
Midback – Originally designed around smaller feet and shorter boots, which they still work for, but it turns out to be great for a rider looking for more freedom and less response. Great for park riding and jibbing.
Toolless Highback Replacement – Easily removable highback for packing or switching out to match different riding conditions.
Ergonomic Highback Design – Switchback's signature hole-in-the-highback design optimizes strength vs flex. When pressure is applied to the heelside for maximum power transfer, and when the boot flexes sideways the binding flexes as well.
Locking Highback Holder – Switchback's signature heelcup locks the highback in the upright position, but a small force (like a chairlift hitting the binding) will release to the highback to prevent the binding and board getting stuck.
Miller Strap – Milled to save weight while being flexible and form fitting. They're made of a grippy and flexible TPU material and pre-curved to fit the contours of any boot. These straps aid in freestyle riding where flex and mobility are key.
Ergonomically Shaped No Pressure Heel Straps – These straps are molded in a way that eliminates pressure points.
Toolless Strap Position Adjustability – Patented pin system that eliminates the need for hardware to change toe or heel straps. This makes switching straps and adjusting strap position easy and with no need for tools.
DuPont™ Hytrel® Ladders – Last for thousands of clicks
Triple Action Toe Ratchet – The toe ratchet has triple teeth to make each action super effective.
Triple Action Heel Ratchet – The triple tooth ratchet saves time strapping in. Created with the highest grade aluminum spring system to make sure they keep performing.
Easy Access Ergonomically Shaped Heel Ladders – The heelstrap ladders are shaped to bend out before they wrap around your boot. This design spreads the pressure of the strap evenly, eliminating pressure points, and making it easier to enter the binding since the strap opens to the outside.
Over-Molded Forged Aluminum Power Rods – This helps transfer pressure from toe to heelside with minimal power loss. The aluminum rods are overmolded inside the heel cup to form an indestructible bond with no need for extra hardware.
Channel Compatible Minidisk – The lighter and reduced footprint of the minidisk allows for a closer feel to the boards flex. Fully compatible with all mounting systems.
