With a shape that recalls the old Pettitors, the K2 Reckoner 122 Skis are fun, playful, and a force to be reckoned with. These big bad twin tips have a sizable turn radius and a network of dampening carbon fibers that gives them the power to handle high speed runouts and pillow smashing straightlines. If it all sounds too beefy for you, don't worry; their lightweight construction and freestyle oriented rocker profile are totally ready for spinning, slashing and powder day party time.

Powder Twin Rocker – High and long rise in the tip and tail to maximize float in softer snow with twin tip skis.
Core
Double Barrel Core – The backbone of the Factory Team collection, Double Barrel cores combine a dense, Fir core over the edges for power and impact resistance, with a lighter Aspen center core for a lively energetic feel.
Laminates
Carbon Spectral Braid – A variable angle carbon fiber laminate allows the torsional and longitudinal stiffness to be adjusted independently. This construct keeps skis lighter and more playful for conditions when power and damping are less important.
Carbon Boost Braid – Longitudinal carbon stringers woven into the K2’s patented Triaxial Braid for added pop and rebound, found on freeride and factory team skis.
Sidewalls
TwinTech Sidewalls – A durable sidewall construction originally developed for twin tip skis that makes the top edges more resistant to ski vs. ski impact damage

These skis varry in width from wide, powder-oriented skis for skiing Alaska spines to narrower, mixed condition skis for ripping the beat up headwall at your local mountain. Skis in this category tend to be on the stiffer side, often with more rocker in the tip and less in the tail. Powder These skis are for the deep days. If you like to find powder stashes at your local resort, go on backcountry missions for the freshest of fresh or heli ski trips to BC, powder skis are what you need to stay afloat. Skis in the powder category are wide and most often have some form of rocker or early rise plus a relatively soft flex. Rocker/Camber/Rocker Rocker/Camber/Rocker skis have the playfulness and float of a rockered ski as well as the added edge hold of a cambered ski. The contact points on skis with this profile are closer towards the middle of the ski than a fully cambered ski, but still not underfoot. The cambered midsection provides a longer effective edge on hardpack, increasing edge hold and stability, while the rockered tip and tail provide floatation in deeper snow and allow the ski to initiate and release from turns easier.
