The Armada El Rey is deliberately light from the full-wood Fleet Core to the nylon cap allowing it to turn resiliently, but take the beating of a good day in the park. As with all Armada skis, design doesn’t stop at construction, cost, performance and appearance make this the most versatile ski Armada offers.

Fleet Core 3- The Fleet Core features a perfect blend of high quality wood to create a lightweight yet responsive feel
S7 Base- This sintered base provides both speed and durability. Minimal tuning required and it’s easy to repair.
Cap Construction- A variable slant top-profile is built into Armada’s new cap construction. The beefy box shape strengthens the skis ability for taking the hard hits underfoot, while the generous taper towards the tip and tail help reduce swing weight an allow for a more forgiving torsion at the tip for easier turn initiation.
Torsion Box- A composite fiberglass that completely wraps around the core which provides a smooth progressive flex with just the right amount of torsional stiffness for better edge grip in all snow conditions.
2.5 Edge- These oversized edges are heat treated to Armada’s custom specifications to help minimize edge breakage and maximize durability.

Park & Pipe Park and pipe skis, often called freestyle skis, are for skiers who spend the majority of their time on jumps, rails, and jibs of all kinds. Traditionally park and pipe skis have narrower waists with full camber profiles, but this category is incorporating more rocker patterns and different shapes. You will almost always find these skis with twin tips as well as other park specific features like thicker, more durable edges, dense extruded bases, and butter zones. All-Mountain All-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm.
