When you get home and take them off, your significant other will probably think it's the active carbon liner that somehow keeps them from stinking up the whole house like your last bike shoes did. Leatt claims it's the RideGrip rubber compound, that's so delectably sticky on the pedals. But the truth is, no one really knows. Maybe they were a gift from a benevolent race of e-bike ripping aliens from the future, in hopes that one day we can join them on the spongy singletracks of Hyperion. Only time will tell.
