An aluminum version of Scott's fastest full-squisher, this bike Sparks joy with great geo, a very dependable component group, and excellent overall design. As a pure XC bike that can handle its own out on the trails too, the Spark is a solid performer.

Frame/Shock
Spark 3 Alloy SL 6011 Aluminum Frame – With custom butted and hydroformed tubes, a tapered headtube, and Boost spacing, this frame shares its geometry with its carbon Spark cousins.
TwinLoc Suspension System – With TwinLoc, a rider can effectively control the complete frame, fork, and shock as a system. Why does this matter? A bike with 150mm of suspension travel, correctly set up, has more sag than a bike with 130mm. It's that extra travel that makes it more fun to ride and more capable on the descents, but the greater sag has an oversized effect on the bike's geometry and climbing performance. That's where TwinLoc matters. Via a handlebar remote, you can choose from three bikes in one!
X-Fusion NUDE RLX Rear Shock – With new seal designs and materials chosen to optimize performance and increase durability, this shock is a great match for XC bikes. Tuned for excellent small-bump sensitivity and overall efficiency, this shock is perfect in Scott's TwinLoc system.
