Featuring a stripped down design, the Backland UL shaves every last unnecessary gram without impacting safety, and it's multi-norm certified for skiing, climbing, and cycling. That means you can load up the bike, cycle to your objective, hike, skin, and climb to your line, then ski down - all with the same helmet.

Hybrid In-Mold Construction – Combines the best of both worlds in helmet construction. The upper is made from ABS hard-shell for extra stability and protection. The lower is in-mold to keep the weight down.
HOLO Core – This unique 'egg-carton' construction creates an extended crumple zone for maximized shock absorption. It also comes with ventilation holes so it's cooler and lighter. This means up to 30% higher impact protection than industry standards.
AMID – The Atomic Multi-Directional Impact Deflector is a revolutionary dual-density foam system that is fixed to helmet's core and free to move in all directions. Provides up to 40% higher impact protection than industry standards.
Ventilation
Active Aircon Venting – With wider and more air channels through each layer of the helmet, hot air has room to escape and adjustable vents actively suck heat away from the head.
Fit
360° Fit System – This progressive fit system enables yo to fine-tune the helmet not only to your head size but also your head shape. It's also height-adjustable for 100% personalized comfort.
