As gravel biking continues to grow, purpose-built gravel bikes are showing their advantages every year. The Giant Revolt Advanced 1 Complete Bike was designed to tackle long, hard rides on variable surfaces, with comfort and control at the top of the engineers' wishlists. The result is a bike that's stiff under pedaling load, compliant over rough stuff, and very fast in all conditions. Set it up as the beefiest road rocket on the block or take advantage of its clever mounting systems to pack enough gear for lightweight overnights.
Advanced Composite Technology – Giant’s High Performance Grade raw carbon material is used to produce this custom frame material in their own composite factory with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio. The front triangle of these framesets is assembled and molded as one continuous piece in a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.
OverDrive Fork Technology – Designed to provide precise front-end steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings (1 1/4” lower and 1 1/8” upper for road, 1 1/2” lower and 1 1/8” upper for mountain) and tapered steerer tube work in conjunction to provide optimal steering stiffness.
D-Fuse Technology – Proprietary D-shaped composite seatpost and handlebar work together to dampen vibrations and absorb road shock, resulting in a smooth, compliant ride quality.
Megadrive – A massive rectangular downtube forms the link between the oversized OverDrive system and the PowerCore bottom bracket. This precisely engineered, rectangular shape yields unprecedented steering and pedaling stiffness while minimizing weight.
Smart Mount System – Compatible with third party accessories, this integrated mounting system makes it easy to customize with racks, fenders and more.
SRAM Apex 1® – SRAM's Apex 1 drivetrain provides the gear range and the shifting simplicity to let you simply go where you want. With features borrowed from their mountain and road groups, Apex 1 is the wide-range 1x11 drivetrain for gravel riders.
Powercore – A massively oversized bottom-bracket/chainstay area features a fully integrated, 86-millimeter wide bottom-bracket design. Asymmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and stability on the non-driveside.
SRAM Apex 1® Hydraulic Disc – Delivering quiet confidence on every ride, Apex 1 gives you two-piston hydraulic power in a familiar and comfortable form.
Tubeless System – Fewer flat tires. Greater traction. Less rolling resistance and a smoother, faster ride. Giant’s Tubeless System makes it easier than ever to experience all these benefits.
Tuned Compliance – An innovative new Contact XR D-Fuse handlebar and D-Fuse seatpost work as a system to help absorb shock without sacrificing the stiffness needed for aggressive road performance. Added frame clearance for high-volume 45c tires help smooth out rough roads, gravel and dirt.
