If you are looking for speed and drive, Futures Stretch Honeycomb Quad Fins are the bees knees. Designed by Santa Cruz shaper William 'Stretch' Riedel, the Honeycomb V2 Foil in the front offers a softer flex pattern, ideal for building momentum. The inside fins include a unique beak-tip shape to provide ultimate performance. For smaller waves or light-footed surfers slip in the Futures Stretch Honeycomb Quad Fins.
Honeycomb – A lightweight hexagonal core gives these fins the feel of glass-ons. Engineered with a medium flex pattern, stiffer than Blackstix but more flexible than Fiberglass.
Front Fins – Height: 4.39" / Base: 4.34" / Area: 14.52" / Foil: V2
Rear Fins – Height: 4.00" / Base: 3.88" / Area: 12.39" / Foil: Symmetrical
Symmetrical Foil – Symmetrical foil rear fins on quads give a fluid consistent feeling that is predictable in all conditions, especially when the rear fins are set off the rail, closer to the stringer.
V2 Foil – A V2 Foil is a V. Foil and Flat Foil blend. It takes the best speed generating attributes of the V. (at the base) and transitions into a flat foil in the tip for a controlled release in critical turns. Try the V2 foil if you are transitioning from flat sided fins. The benefits of the V. foil base will be noticeable but the change for your muscle memory will not be too drastic.
Ride Number 7.2/10 – Ride Number is all about how your equipment feels while you're surfing. Now you can choose a Speed Generating Feel that is springy and responsive by picking a fin in the 10-7 range, or a solid, engaged, and predictable feel from the Speed Control category rated 4-1. For a Balanced feel try a Ride Number of 7-4.
