The Santa Cruz Nomad 7 CC XT Di2 Complete Mountain Bike doesn't care if it's a bike park Tuesday or a race start line Saturday — load the van, point it somewhere gnarly, and it's raring to go. With mixed wheels, 170mm of travel front and rear, and Santa Cruz's premium CC carbon frame construction, it absorbs the biggest hits while staying efficient enough to climb back up for more. This latest iteration features an improved Glovebox™ V2 and updated suspension that pushes VPP® to the limit, rounded out with Fox DHX2 Factory coil suspension, SRAM Maven Silver brakes, and wireless Shimano XT Di2 shifting.
Carbon CC Frame – Santa Cruz's highest level of carbon fiber frame construction, CC carbon is not only extremely lightweight and strong, but it comes with a lifetime warranty. The durability, feel, and performance of carbon is unmatched in the mountain bike world, and Santa Cruz are at the top of the game.
Travel – 170mm Front / 170mm Rear
Wheel Size – Mixed Wheel (29" Front / 27.5" Rear)
Lower-Link Mounted VPP® Suspension – VPP is based on the patented principle of having two short links rotating in opposite directions. This system provides huge design flexibility, allowing Santa Cruz to manipulate shock rates to the intended purpose and character of each model; from short travel endurance bikes to World Championship winning DH machines. This redesign mounts the shock lower on the bike, making for an even better ride quality.
The Glovebox™ V2 – Seal whatever you want to carry on your ride inside your downtube. The Glovebox™ V2 features updates to the latch mechanism and lever for improved access and relibility.
Proportional Chainstay Lengths – With rear ends that match the size range, this bike's geo and ride quality is the same for all riders.
Mechanical Derailleur Routing on All Kits
The Shimano XT Di2 shifter feels instantly natural out of the box, but can also be molded to fit any hand, thanks to its familiar fit and evolved adjustability design. Multiple shift modes, like hold-down multi-shift and 2-step multi-shift, offer versatility and precision, while the tactile click prevents mis-shifts and a tunable third button allows for additional system tuning or third-party connection.
The all-new XTR M9250 long-cage derailleur paired with a standard 10-51T M9200 cassette gives riders and racers the speed, range, and robustness to tackle every trail on the mountain. With built-in Automatic Impact Recovery, an impact-deflecting shape, and simple covered-pulley solutions, this derailleur stands up to harsh trail impacts and still retains its lightning-quick shifting speed and top-level performance.
