Interstitch Baffle Technology – These baffles are built differently. To increase weather protection, Rab engineered clever internal seams with every baffle overhanging the one below it. Water is encouraged to simply shed off the jacket rather than creeping through the seams, thanks to the wonders of gravity. In especially wild weather, any moisture is channelled away from the seams because the fabric between baffles is held in a vertical fold. This greatly reduces the chances of water ingress, keeping you warm and dry.
