The Atomic Hawx Ultra 95 BOA W Ski Boots consistently out-sell other narrow boots in this category, and the remarkable fit achieved by Atomic's Memory Fit heat molding process (have this done at an authorized Atomic shop) is a big part of the story. Heat moldable in its entirety (the shell goes in a convection oven), the Ultra 95 BOA can be made to fit a wide range of feet from narrow to a bit above average widths. Well suited to upper intermediate to advanced skiers, the 95 flex is a great do-it-all choice.
Last: 98 mm – A narrow last suitable for those with narrower than average feet (heat customizable to fit many average width feet).
Memory Fit – Advanced heat-fitting technology creates a fully personalized shell, cuff and liner in minutes. The key is Memolink, Atomic's special additive that improves the moldability and stretch of their plastics. Expansion can be up to 6mm forefoot width and up to 10mm ankle width, resulting in a permanent and complete anatomical fit in minutes. See your bootfitter for details.
Women's Specific Cuff – Specifically designed for female skiers, this cuff features wider, more fluted calf areas and a shorter cuff height for a secure, comfortable fit.
Flex: 95 – A medium-stiff flex for solid power and response.
True Flex – Atomic's unique True Flex additive helps PU and Grilamid shells maintain a consistent flex and feel in a wide variety of temperatures.
Mimic Gold W Liner – Atomic's Mimic liners mold remarkably to both the foot and the interior of the boot shell for the utmost in fit and less liner-boot movement.
3M™ Thinsulate™ Insulation – Keeps feet warm and responsive even in extremely cold and damp conditions.
Cuff – Polyurethane
Shell – True Flex Polyurethane
Prolite – Instead of starting with a standard construction and cutting material away to save weight, Prolite does the opposite. It starts with the slimmest possible profile and then builds up reinforcements in key areas where strength is needed - like the Energy Backbone down each boot spine.
Energy Backbone – A reinforced, asymmetric backbone providing extra strength for powerful skiing plus enhanced lateral energy transmission for better edge grip.
Forward Lean – 15˚
Power Shift – Forward lean can be quickly adjusted to 13°, 15° (default) or 17°. Add a bolt on 110 / 120 models to stiffen flex. Remove a bolt on 130 model to soften flex.
Dual Sided Cuff Alignment
2 6000 Series Aluminum Cuff Buckles
BOA® Fit System Lower Closure – Allows more even distribution of pressure over the forefoot and instep and infinite precise adjustment.
