Westport

There are three main surf breaks in Westport - The Jetty at Westhaven State Park, The Cove at Half Moon Bay, and The Groins, a set of smaller jetties to the north of town. The surf in Westport is consistently good all year long, unlike many west coast breaks. Currents can be strong in the area, but in general surfers of all abilities will be able to have a great time. Westport itself is a small fishing town, with a handful of resturant and surf shops. Driving, Westport is about two and a half hours southwest from Seattle, and about three hours northwest from Portland.
