As with all the skis in the new Ranger Ti series, Fischer has gone to great lengths to make this ski lighter without sacrificing stability. An Air Tech Ti milled core and carbon nose do the duty of reducing weight, while a Titanal shell keeps the ski damp and quiet at speed.

Rocker Type:

Freeski Rocker: Tip and tail rocker with reduced camber for smooth performance and ease of turning.

Shape:

Tapered Tip and Tail

Aeroshape: The topsheet of the ski forms a broad sphere, leaving the ski thickness normal in the center but radically reduced at the edges in the tip and tail. This shape not only reduces mass, but increases torsional strength and leaves a streamlined side profile in soft snow.

Core:

Beech and Poplar Woodcore

Air Tec Ti Wood Core: Fischer brings their patented Nordic technology to alpine skis in this elaborate, offset milling structure which reduces core weight by 25% without affecting flex or torsion.

Laminates:

Titanal Shell: A curved shell of Titanal metal wraps the top surface of the milled Air Tech Ti core.

Carbon Nose: Visually striking use of lightweight carbon laminate in the nose of the ski allows the ski tip to be extremely thin and lowers vibrating mass at speed.

Sidewalls:

Sandwich Sidewall Construction: Wood core combined with ABS sidewalls in a classic Sandwich Construction for balanced flex and perfect rebound.
