Product Info

Contrary to the name, flying squirrels actually soar...glide if you will. And if you aim to have the impressive aerial locomotion of a flying squirrel, then ride the Burton Process Flying V Snowboard. There should be no shame in wanting to imitate these graceful rodents. They are fast. And fast shredding starts with Burton's tough and remarkably porous Sintered base. Then comes the Flying V™ baseline, which give you the liveliness of rocker plus the turning power and stability of camber for higher ollies, tighter carves and effortless float in powder. As you can tell, your speed and style will soar on the Burton Process Flying V Snowboard.

Product Details

Rocker Type

Flying V™Rocker between your binding sections meets mellow camber right outside the bindings. Rocker appears again on the tip and tail. The rocker enhances playfulness and float whereas the stable camber zones enhance edge control, power and pop.

Flex

Medium-SoftA forgiving, user-friendly flex. Riders who use the entire mountain as their playground will benefit from this playful, versatile and damp flex.

Twin FlexHaving a twin flex indicates that your board is perfectly symmetrical in flexibility from tip to tail so you gain a more balanced and predictable ride.

Shape

Twin ShapePerfectly symmetrical for a balanced ride that’s equally versatile when ridden regular or switch. Jib, spin, stomp, and butter with a greater balance of freestyle mobility and cat-like stability no matter which way you point it.

Scoop Pro-Tip™Burton's tip and tail altering features come together to give riders a catch-free ride in the park, on the groomers or in the backcountry. This design exaggerates the tip and tail by turning up the edges creating a playful and forgiving ride.

Core

FSC™ Certified Super Fly ll™ 700G CoreStrong and lightweight woods target specific areas of the core to provide pop, strength and reduce weight. FSC™ certification ensures that the wood products are harvested from well-managed forests that provide environmental, social and economic benefits.

Dualzone™ EDG™The wood grain is positioned perpendicularly along the toe and heel edges. Engineered Grain Direction provides you with consistent edge-hold and added strength.

SqueezeboxBurton's Squeezebox improves your boards performance by balancing thicker more powerful core sections in with thinner more flexible sections. Meaning you get enhanced board connectivity, response and predictability.

Laminates

Triax™ FiberglassThis laminate gives the board an asymmetrical flex with lengthwise stiffness. The result is a board that remains smooth and stable.

Base

SinteredDurable and highly porous. Sintered bases add durability to the deck and have superior wax absorption making for fast ride.

Die-Cut BaseBase color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.

Edges

Frostbite EdgesThe edges extend out slightly beneath your bindings for tremendous edge-hold on hard, icy conditions. Regardless of the conditions they make your ride easy, playful and always precise.

Additional Features

Infinite Ride™Burton-exclusive technology allows for maximum pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Whether you choose to ride Springloaded, Rocker, or Camber, rest assured that your board will maintain its flex, pop, and feel from the first day forward, season after season.

Binding Compatibility

The Channel™Stronger, faster, easier, and more adjustable - The Channel™ gives you ultimate control of your stance and your board in a design compatible with all major binding companies (not just Burton’s).
