Swan Creek Mountain Bike Park
Trail Guide

Located just across I-5 from downtown Tacoma, Swan Creek mountain bike park has a handful of fun cross country loops, and some bigger freeride lines, too. These lines are reminiscent of a slightly smaller version of Issaquah’s Duthie Hill Mountain Bike Park. The trail system at Swan Creek is relatively new, with lots of help from Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance constantly bringing new trails to the park, and keeping the existing lines in great shape. The recent construction also means that the trails have been built with year-round riding in mind, with most trails begin good to go quickly after rainfall.

Hustle & Flow
Beginner | 1.8 Miles | 523' Climb | 523' Descent

Hustle & Flow is the main cross country loop at Swan Creek. This is the longest trail at the park, with many more options for shorter loops to be added on. Hustle & Flow is mostly smooth with rollers and berms. The trail is great for beginners and kids, and there are also some more difficult options and lines along the way for more advanced riders. It rides well in both directions.

Breaking Bad
Intermediate| .31 Miles | 97' Climb | 103' Descent

Predator is an expert rated downhill only mountain bike trail. Nearly all downhill, Predator is fast and flowy with lots of fun drops, berms, and some technical sections. There are rolling jumps and doubles scattered throughout. Bottom line, Predator is super fun and well worth the climb. While it is downhill only, you won't see a lot of downhill bikes on the Predator trail because of the climb required to get to it. All-mountain bikes with around 150mm of travel do the job just fine.

Feedback
Intermediate | .15 Miles | 86' Descent

Breaking Bad is one of several cross country style mountain bike trails at Swan Creek. It starts and ends on Hustle & Flow.

Light Rail
Intermediate | .16 Miles | 118' Climb | 107' Descent

Feedback is a short one-way trail that cuts a corner of Hustle & Flow. It is fast and fun with a couple of big bermed corners.

Murphy's Law
Intermediate | .62 Miles | 118' Climb | 107' Descent

Light Rail is another intermediate cross country loop that branches off of Hustle & Flow. The trail can be ridden in either direction, with a more mellow climb and steep descent when it’s ridden counter-clockwise.

Freeride Jump Lines

Jumpin Zac Flash
Beginner

Ground Control
Advanced

Ground control is a longer and super flowy advanced freeride line. The top is filled with berms, rollers and small jumps. Again, there are no mandatory gaps. This is one of the most fun trails at Swan Creek, it’s fast and smooth. Ground Control can be looped off of Hustle & Flow, too.

TNT
Expert

TNT is the largest freeride line at Swan Creek and rated for expert riders. The jumps have much more pop and all have mandatory gaps. The jumps are smaller comparable in size to the Gravy Train trail at Duthie Hill.
