Never Summer Infinity Rocker Snowboard - Women's 2011: This award winning, high performance women’s board has all the same design features as the SL, but is narrower, softer and is lighter in weight. The Never Summer Infinity Rocker Snowboard is hands down the best women’s specific, all mountain freestyle snowboard money can buy!
Flex
The softer flex of the Never Summer Infinity Snowboard is perfect for beginner to intermediate riders who are looking to try out some all mountain freestyle fun.
Construction and Core
The Carbon VXR Laminate Technology has carbon “V”s that are set back even further from the tip and tail to increase power and stiffness from the bindings to the edge. This system also helps soften the tip and tail just enough to help you dominate any terrain park or kicker that crosses your path. The Custom Flightcore is the most technically advanced core system Never Summer has ever used. Designed and built in NS’s woodcore facility, these cores fuse premium hardwood and ultra light softwood laminates together with vertical layers of elastomeric vibration absorption - the faster you ride the more you will maintain an incredible amount of snap and liveliness, providing a level of edgehold and high speed performance that only a Never Summer snowboard can deliver. The RDS 2 Damping system uses three narrower laminated damping layers that provide the perfect combination of vibration absorption and stability.
Other Features
Made in the USA
Base
Crown Plastics has been the industry leader in sintered materials for over 35 years and has created the Durasurf Sintered 4501 Base exclusively for Never Summer. This new high density base is extremely fast and will provide unmatched performance and durability.
Sidewalls and Edges
The Sintered P-tex Sidewall is unlike conventional ABS sidewalls that have a tendency to crack in colder temperatures. Sintered P-tex Sidewalls maintain their integrity at any temperature.

Comments about Never Summer Infinity Rocker Snowboard - Women's 2011:

i have only had two days on this board so far and have only ridden one other board (a traditional camber - salomon ivy), but the infinity is a dreamboat. it is more responsive, more stable at higher speeds and heaps of fun to ride as it feels a lot more playful. also holds edges on hard pack/ice better than my ivy and a burton lipstick flying v i demo'd. i am a never summer convert! demo'd it before i bought it and would recommend demoing to everyone as your perfect board depends on how you like to ride.

Comments about Never Summer Infinity Rocker Snowboard - Women's 2011:

Let me start off by saying that I am a newbie. I had literally been on a PA mountain only one day last season, and it was painful. I couldn't do anything but fall. I researched boards for a long time after that trip, knowing that I still wanted to continue snowboarding, but determined to not be stuck with a rental again. I finally chose this board.

My board's maiden voyage was in VT this weekend, for two full days. By the end of the first day, I could actually link turns (both heelside and toeside), and make it down with minimal beatings from the mountain. I could feel each of the four edges respond individually as I turned, the board responding smoothly and easily to my commands. Upon coming out of each turn, the ride was very stable and balanced. I was told many times to just trust my board to do what it needed, and this board knows exactly what to do. As a newbie/beginner, I believe that this was crucial to my being able to progress. It was, honestly, a fantastic board for me at this point. I also believe that it will follow right along as my skills advance. I could definitely feel that I was holding my board back, rather than the other way around. (It also might help to mention that every instructor I had this weekend commented on how great a board this is...which made me feel even more confident about my choice seeing as they are at a much higher skill level than I am.)

Overall, it is a fantastic board with excellent response, a smooth ride, and the durability to carry me through years of snowboarding.

Comments about Never Summer Infinity Rocker Snowboard - Women's 2011:

I am an instructor in Vermont, and a good chunk of our staff converted to Never Summer this year. This board is amazing...it does everything. It is incredibly fun and flexible, yet holds an edge on the notorious New England hardpack. Makes park riding look like a breeze, as the rocker/camber combo makes it really easy to get a feature between your feet. It also seems very durable so far, true to Never Summer's reputation. I would say this is one of the best women's boards I have ever ridden. The technology is not dumbed down, just made narrower and lighter.

Just one little quibble...I do wish this board were a little more damp at high speed, but I don't ride particularly fast most of the time so it's not a huge issue for me. If you want more dampening for freeriding, I would suggest the Never Summer Lotus.

Comments about Never Summer Infinity Rocker Snowboard - Women's 2011:

Previous board was a traditional cambered Ride board so the switch to a rocker hybrid took a bit of research & product testing. This board is a lot of fun to ride:

            1. Holds well on hardpack & ice, not as well as magna-traction but it can hold it's own!
            2. Slightly heavier than most boards but without forgoing a nice flex & poppiness that lets you shoot thru the park & is great in the pipe .... it just climbs climbs climbs.
            3. Does well in powder with a really nice buttery float due to the reverse camber.
            4. Doesn't chatter or become squirrely when bombing down the hill like most rockered boards.
            5. Handles cruddy, slushy conditions fairly well & is an overall very stable board.

After weeks of riding the Infinity, the only qualm is that this board is like a Cadillac .... which means sometimes you'll fall for apparently no reason because this board is so good at dampening that you lose a little bit of "board-feel". The only conditions I haven't challenged with this board yet is backcountry but it has handled responsively in sidecountry trails & trees.

Overall, I absolutely love this board! Thanks Never Summer for upping my riding this season.

Comments about Never Summer Infinity Rocker Snowboard - Women's 2011:

Let me tell you about this board!!....Its frikin awesome. I was an intermediate snowboarder that was riding a 2008 Salomon Ivy for the past couple of years and was never 100% satisfied because of its unforgiving nature especially at the end of the day. The NS Infinity is the most amazing board I have ever owned. It rides sooooo well in deep powder up in Mammoth, carves effortlessly, super responsive when I slice through the trees, has nice pop, and unlike the Roxy Eminence Rocker Board that i kept for one trip because of the chatter at high speeds, this awesome rocker board DOES not chatter at high speeds. This board seriously has it all and I am now an advance snowboarder because of it

Mainly use to play on the backsides and bowls of the mountains in Colorado. Easy to go fast on the downhills, easy to turn and land on the bumps and trees. I have gotten better a lot faster on this board.

Comments about Never Summer Infinity Rocker Snowboard - Women's 2011:

This is my first Never Summer and my first rocker and i'm so happy wth it. Every weight shift is fast i've never caught an edge and it holds up in the park. I would've liked a smaller size to get better spins since i'm a very small rider, but it's such a nice board that I'm willing to take the added length.
