There is no mountain large enough to scare away the K2 Ultrasplit Splitboard. This burly, stiff deck has a directional shape tuned for the best descents of your life. From epic powder to spring slush, the AT Baseline™ has both the control and playfulness you need to have a blast in the variety of conditions found splitboarding. Constructed with Ultratech™ technology, the Ultrasplit is as light as a feather while maintaining an extremely high level of durability to the sidewalls. Take the snowboard party to new heights with the K2 Ultrasplit Splitboard.
Rocker Type
All Terrain Baseline™ - Designed for use anywhere on the mountain, K2's AT baseline allows for effortless turns in the hardest conditions. It also provides ample float in soft snow and crud. Designed as a directional baseline, AT has a medium rise through the tip and a lower rise in the tail. The perfect balanced baseline for a multi-purpose rider.
Tweekend™ - A revolutionary tweak to the ends of K2's industry leading Baseline technology. By extending the Baseline rocker all the way out to the ends of the board, an additional rideable surface is unlocked, giving you a bigger, more stable platform to press, float and land on.
Flex Rating: 8 (1 Soft - 10 stiff) - A stiff deck that has a little give for a deck that remains stable at high speed.
Directional Twin
Bambooyah™ Split - Bambooyah™ cores are skate style horizontally laminated bamboo cores that K2 challenges any rider to try and break. One Bambooyah™ core per split.
Carbon Web™ II - This core additive boosts the feel and energy return of your snowboard. By extending out beyond the contact points, it supports the whole length of the tip and tail. The result is a more connected feedback loop from terrain to rider.
ICG 20 - Integrating carbon into the fiberglass reducing overall weight and creating a super smooth release of power while increasing pop and liveliness. Each level of ICG is tailored for the rider at hand and their performance needs.
Biaxial - The classic structure laminate, biaxial glass provides smooth all-purpose performance.
Ultratech™ - Designed specifically for the needs of the slitboarder, Ultra Tech is as tough and lightweight as it gets. Comprised of a molded edge that lands on a half height sidewall optimized to take the abuse of slapping and banging the two "skis" together while skinning.
Ø Sintered - Ultra thin, static eliminating base that remains lightweight and uses minimal materials.
Die-cut Base - Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Additional Features
Z-Clip - Taking the already industry leading attachment system to a new level of secure attachment and ease of use. By angling the end of the skin you get the maximum amount of adhesion surface area and lowest profile clip.
Binding Compatibility
Split Track - K2's Split Track mounting system opens up a whole new dimension for avid split boarders. No longer are stance's limited by stiff pucks, K2's opened it up to allow any desired stance on earth. Freedom to roam.

  • Terrain: Splitboarding
A splitboard snowboard is built specifically for the backcountry rider. Splitboards are designed to break down into two separate halves for touring and uphill travel (with climbing skins). Special bindings are required as well. Once you've reached the top of the terrain feature, you reconnect your splitboard for the ride back downhill. However, it's important to note that you will need appropriate backcountry tools, knowledge of the backcountry, weather and snow conditions and climbing skins to safely take advantage of the freedom of a splitboard.
  • Ability Level: Advanced-Expert
Whether you charge the steepest lines, carve with race-like precision, hit the biggest jumps or halfpipes; advanced to expert level skis/snowboards are for the more aggressive rider. You will often find the addition of layers of metal, carbon, bamboo, or other stringers in these. These features work to make a stiffer ski/snowboard with more power and rebound.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Flat/Rocker
Rocker/Flat/Rocker is another variation on the rocker theme that seeks to provide a little more hard snow edgehold and pop than full rocker while retaining ease of turning and float. Performance is between a fully rockered board and a flat board.
  • Shape: Directional Twin
  • Flex Rating: Stiff
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
