Baseplate:
Forum’s new Good Vibes Hinge Disk utilizes two separate pieces that operate independently allowing the binding to flex underfoot. Updated for 2011 with nose-to-tail stance-width adjustment for a more natural board flex and feel, the disk grants maximum dampening and impact absorption while amplifying the benefits of a continuous rocker. The baseplate material is 15% glass-filled, high-grade nylon for the perfect blend of feel and power with a lightweight aircraft-grade aluminum heelhoop that provides maximum support and response.
Highback:
The Living Hinge Highback on the Forum Shaka Snowboard Bindings is sculpted with comfort in mind, perfectly wrapping the contours of your boot while supplying just the right amount of support with a design that creates a perfect alignment with the heelhoop for no gaps or pressure points, just pure comfort.
Straps:
The Flip Flop ankle strap is Forum’s new way of customizing freestyle freedom, with adjustable increased medial/lateral support so you can decide how you feel your strap’s vibes, or you could remove the buckle and rotate the strap to change the feel and support completely. The Throwdown Capstrap on the toe is designed for complete coverage around the toe that throws down on demand and clinches boots into the heel cup for precise edge control. And to save you time, the new tool-free ankle- and toe-strap adjustment means no extra tools on the hill.
Additional Features:
The Good Vibes EVA footpad with new FGel cushioning in the toe and heel is adjustable and protects riders from heavy impacts and minimizes chatter, only letting the Good Vibes through, while still allowing precise board feel and control.
