The Arbor Veda is a great all-mountain women's snowboard. Built on Arbor’s Highland II core, it feels really strong and stable under your feet while still being quite lightweight. With a System Camber profile (closer to traditional camber), the Veda is incredibly responsive edge to edge. The slightly tapered shape with 2cm binding setback gives you a nice little floaty feel. It's stiff enough to feel completely stable if you are going mach speed down groomers or hard packed/icy snow but does not feel overly aggressive. A truly fun and progressive go anywhere board.
Shop the Arbor Veda SnowboardThe Arbor Veda Snowboard is an absolute ripper. This directional big mountain board was shaped by Marie-France Roy, and it's her ride of choice for lines of high consequence. It has a slightly tapered, setback shape that floats well in deeper snow, as well as long lines, a sturdy flex, and a full camber profile that generates plenty of power and response when you need it most. To finish it off, the board is made with Arbor's signature commitment to sustainability, featuring a plastic-free topsheet that highlights the beautiful and unique woodgrain patterns of the Cedar Powerply.
The Veda features Arbor’s System Camber with 1.5° Uprise Fenders, longer in the nose than in the tail for increased float, more powerful turn initiation and drive with increased edge hold.
Bio-Plastic Topsheet – made from castor bean oil, reduces use of Petroleum based plastics.
Sintered Base – low maintenance and tough.
Highland ll Core- very lightest and highest quality paulownia wood from sourcing partners. Making it a lighter, more responsive version of the previous Highland Core.

Just pulling the Veda out of the truck bed, you notice right away it's so light! This board can really hold an edge in any condition, riding in the PNW you can have all kinds of weather in one day. The Veda feels fun and floaty on the deep days, and strong and responsive when the snow firms up. The board is factory tuned and waxed from the get go so I did not feel the need to wax the sintered base most of the season, still haven’t actually :) When riding down a steep icy face Arbors grip tech edge design gives the Veda amazing edge hold and helps me get out of dicey situations with ease.
The Veda is designed for a more intermediate to advanced rider. Someone looking to get everywhere on the mountain. If you like powder days or backcountry hikes, this would be a great board for you. Even in bounds the Veda is playful while still feeling strong and stable.
The Veda is a fun and functional all mountain machine. I can tell it was designed by the absolute legend Marie-France Roy. If you are hoping to progress in the backcountry, or just make epic power laps and hard carving turns at the resort, the Veda will keep you feeling strong and secure in a range of conditions.
