CWB Onset Wakeskate 2009

Skateboards have one layer, wakeskates have two layers, the CWB Onset Wakeskate has three layers. The top sheet has been shaped straight from a skateboard. It has three layers of poplar laminate formed with a true concave top as well as large kick tails for the best ollie response out there. Under that is home to a seven ply bottom flat deck for the stiffness needed to keep the rocker pattern in shape. In between these layers is a tri-density foam pad that creates the rebound needed to add snap off the wake making wake-to-wake tricks bigger than ever. The CWB Onset also comes with optional fins, giving you the choice to have a more locked or loose feel on the water.
Other Features
One size fits all

Comments about CWB Onset Wakeskate 2009:

bought the cwb onset in summer 2009 have used it about 6 times and both me and my budz are loving it. The board is really light compared to some of the other bilevel decks i looked at at a store. The grip tape is very rough so it has really good traction to your feet (shoes are a must). and the lips on the side of the deck are awesome for kickflips and heelflips (not saying i can land them) but the lips give it that xtra snap you need to spin the board. Overall very happy with the purchase and it was cheaper than some of the other big name pro model decks.

I am skating behing a jetski, most what i am trying are surface tricks. Due to fast riding the OnSet allows you to make several trick even the Jetski does not create a good wave.

Comments about CWB Onset Wakeskate 2009:

have a private lake in kansas i wake skate on. dont always get smooth water so the board was great for its weight and keepin the ride smooth and edges locked. am a smaller guy so the weight was just the issue like a lighter skate for quicker snap. love the concave makes you really control the board. grip tape is very nice. and enjoyed the foam inner layer really could feel smoother and softer landings.

    Service and delivery comments:

showed up quick and perfectly fine and new condition. and never used cs, never had problems.
