Flex:
Twin Flex: Having a twin flex indicates that your board is perfectly symmetrical in flexibility from tip to tail so you gain a more balanced and predictable ride.
Filet-O-Flex: Burton's Filet-O-Flex is constructed by milling down the snowboard's core. The result is a soft board with strength, stability, durability, powerful pop and great edge-hold.
Shape:
Flat Kicks: Tip and tail profile optimized for servin' up presses and butters, plenty of pop too.
True Twin: A true twin snowboard shape is ideal for riders who want to ride switch and do some tricks. The nose and tail are identical and the flex is evenly distributed throughout the entirety of the board. True twins are perfectly symmetrical.
Core:
Dualzone™ EGD™: The wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges on two continuous zones, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for consistent edge-hold, and added strength.
Super Fly® Core: The Super Fly® core lightweight and loaded with pop. It is constructed with layers of wood that create a 'vertical sandwich' to help improve the snowboard's snap and response. This core is great for freeride boards and adds durability and strength for park boards.
Off-Axis Squeezebox Low: With an easier feel that requires less effort to control, Squeezebox Low brings high-end core profiling to the progressing or park rider
Laminates:
Triax™ Fiberglass: This laminate gives the board an asymmetrical flex with lengthwise stiffness. The result is a board that remains smooth and stable.
Base:
Sintered Base: Sintered bases are super-fast. Polyethylene pellets are forced together under extremely high pressure. The result is a singular piece of connected pellets with tiny pores across the entire base. Sintered bases absorb hot wax really well.
Die-Cut Base: Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Edges:
Off-Axis Frostbite: Frostbite extends out slightly beneath bindings for tremendous edge-hold on hard, icy conditions. Meaning they are powerful when you need them yet playful and forgiving when you don't.
Rail Ready™ Tune: Beveled edges for slide-ability, but still sharp enough to hold a killer edge while carving or on lips.
Additional Features:
Off-Axis: Tweaks key elements in the board's construction to match the typical park rider's stance angles. This anatomical alignment results in a natural flex around the bindings, and a smoother feel, grip, and connection during take-offs and landings.
Infinite Ride™: Burton-exclusive technology allows for maximum pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Whether you choose to ride Springloaded, Rocker, or Camber, rest assured that your board will maintain its flex, pop, and feel from the first day forward, season after season.
