The 98mm waist combined with a progressive sidecut gives the rider a huge advantage in soft snow and facilitates hookup on the groomers. The S5 is the king of New School, all mountain skis.

- Core and Flex Pattern:Wood Tricore with Rossignol’s Weight Reducing System combines intelligent distribution of fibers in the ski structure to balance flex, reduce weight, with no loss to resistance.
- Construction:Traditional Sandwich Construction creates a multilayer ski with greater torsional strength. Rossignol’s Rebound Tip technology adds ample shock-absorption and bombproof handling.
- Shape:The S5 Jago features Rossignol’s signature Rocking Chair Effect for better balance, firm contact on hardpack and high float in the powder // The S5 has three boot sole marks; one for all-mountain positioning, one for somebody who wants to spend a little time in the park, and one for a true centered park rat.
