The Yeti Cycles SB115 C1 Factory Complete Mountain Bike is that rare XC- adjacent ripper that will gladly hang with bikes packing twice the squish. Its beloved Switch Infinity suspension platform is perfect for its shorter-travel, where it accelerates like an XC racer - lightweight, responsive, and nimble. Somehow it turns 4.5" of rear travel into something much more when the trail goes haywire, soaking up bumps dang near how a bigger trail bike would. The Shimano 12-speed drivetrain, 4-piston brakes, and meaty tires show that this ain't no ordinary short traveler: this is an all day, all-terrain ripper. This particular model has upgrade Fox Factory suspension, for the most tunability.

Frame/Shock:
C/Series Carbon Frame: By making small changes in the carbon fiber layup of their TURQ Series bikes, Yeti was able to create a more aggressively priced carbon high-performance mountain bike. C-Series frames maintain the strength and stiffness of the TURQ Series. The carbon fiber in C-Series weighs a bit more, about 190g per frame. Every bike model is offered in at least one C-Series option with high-end components.
Fox Factory DPS Rear Shock: The Float DPS’ lightweight chassis, EVOL air spring, and dual piston damper with 3-position switch help conserve energy for when you need it most. “Factory” says it all – feature-packed and designed to exceed the demands of Fox's Factory-level riders. What Fox sells is what they race. Factory Series products feature slippery smooth, ultra-durable Genuine Kashima Coat.
Shock Adjustments: 2-Position Open / Firm Lever / Low-Speed Compression / High-Speed Compression / Low-Speed Rebound / High-Speed Rebound / Air Spring Pressure
Switch Infinity Suspension: Switch Infinity utilizes a patented translating pivot that switches direction as the bike moves through its travel. This provides excellent anti-squat characteristics for superior pedaling performance and ideal suspension characteristics as it gets deeper into the travel.
Integrated Frame Protection: The frame protectors for the down tube and chainstay are custom molded to match the frame. This guarantees a proper fit and adhesion to the frame for years of protection without the need for replacement or additional adhesives.
Internal Cable Routing: This may seem like a small thing, but having a clean aesthetic on the frame along with internally molded carbon tubes inside for hassle-free cable routing is key. It makes for a quiet ride and ease of maintenance. For Yeti, building a great frame is all about the details.
Integrated Axle and Hanger: The integrated axle and derailleur hanger system is built for simplicity and strength. Utilizing a left-hand thread to secure the hanger allows Yeti to incorporate the same machine piece for the axle retention. A clever little system the engineers spent many hours on that might get overlooked.
