Atomic Tracker 130 Alpine Touring Ski Boots 2012

The Atomic Tracker 130 Alpine Touring Ski Boots are built for skiers who want the freedom of movement of an AT boot without sacrificing anything on the downhill. With a 130 flex rating and Atomic's Enduro chasis, the Tracker 130 offers bombproof downhill performance. Yet if you're in need of climbing freedom, the Trackers open up 20˚ with just a flip of a switch, for easy uphill access. If you're a sidecountry slayer who doesn't mind the skintrack either, the Tracker 130 is for you.
Fit
Enduro Chasis - Atomic's podium-proven race technology has been combined with all mountain versatility for a fit that's the best of both worlds. A more agressive geometry gives skiers the the confidence to attack steeper more aggressive lines, while the outsole offers better power transmission on wider skis.
Liner
ASY Pro T3 Liner - Atomic's Asymmeric liner construction offers a thermo-moldable tongue, toe box and heel pocket, each designed for the left or right foot. This better fit allows for increased comfort and better power transmission.
4-way stretch toe box
Alcantara micro fiber lining
Therm-ic prepared
Shell Materials
1 component shell
Stance
1 mm offset shell
0˚ shell rotation
16-18˚ forward lean angle
Ski/Walk Mode

Comments about Atomic Tracker 130 Alpine Touring Ski Boots 2012:

I had the Atomic Burner 130 boots last season and bought these for the backcountry capabilities. These boots are very soft - too soft for a boot forward sier. I would call them a 110 not a 130. They actualyl do fit well, although they are very roomy - I got the same size boot in the tracker (28.5) that I had before in the Burner and the tracker requires me to buckle all of the bucles on full. It is warm, but surprisingly the liner is really thin/flimsy. Be careful if you are looking for something reasonably stiff as this is not it! I put Intuition wrap liners in them and have stiffened them up considerably.

I ma really shocked at the review below, where he says they are tight/hard to get on. These boots are like slippers so I do not understand. Perhaps his boots are too small.

All in all a decent boot, but definitely too soft. will try the Lange or something else next time.

Comments about Atomic Tracker 130 Alpine Touring Ski Boots 2012:

Looking for a boot that could drive my Line Influence 115's. These definitely have what it takes to go agro. Trouble is, they are soooo low volume, I could barely handle the pain. I have a medium volume foot and these are simply too narrow. Gave them the benefit of the doubt for four days and could barely walk. They do drive my skis quite well. Extremely hard to get on and off. The walk feature was a factor in choosing, but I found that it is minimal compared to my Black Diamonds (read: not so much extra flex when in walk mode). I can tell it is a great boot, but only for the right foot.
