Comments about Atomic Tracker 110 Alpine Touring Ski Boots - Women's 2013:

I am a female skier in my 50s who primarily skis steep terrain and a lot of ungroomed and off-piste stuff - all day. I have skiied in Atomic boots for several years. I needed a stiffer boot to drive my new stiffer men's skis. Out of the box, I could barely get my foot in the boot. After two hours of clomping around, I had no hot spots, but they still very, very snug and required I use a thin sock. On the groomed slopes, the feel in the skis was very, very good.

I left on a multi-day trip skiing steep, icy terrain. The boot liner packed out excessively within 3 days leaving me struggling in a sloppy boot. The thin stiff liner was not up to the task. This is not a boot for hard skiing.

I took the cushier lining out of my other Atomics which took up the slop so I can still use them. Boot reviews should be done after 10 days of skiing the boot, not 2 hours. All the reviews said this was a low volume boot meant for a narrow foot. I have a high arch and wider foot so I reasonably expected this boot to fit tight and stay tight. Even the shell did not live up to my expectations for an expert boot. It all seemed kind of cheap. This was a big disappointment from my previous favorite book makers.

Bottom line: Not a true expert / advanced boot.

Comments about Atomic Tracker 110 Alpine Touring Ski Boots - Women's 2013:

Gave these to my wife as a gift. She absolutely loves them. Even though these are touring boots, she uses them exclusively for resort skiing. She has a narrow foot and the boot is appropriately narrow (as advertised). The fit is snug and comfortable. The boots perform well, but are comfortable enough to be worn all day (plus apres ski).
