Comments about Tecnica Inferno Heat Ski Boots 2011:

This is an initial comfort only review, as I've just received these and haven't been in the snow yet. If I remember I'll update later on how they ski.

Worn them around the house for a couple hours, taken on/off for adustments, and they seem very comfy for a 98 last. I'm almost an exact 26.5 mondo with a 96mm forefoot width, so feet slightly narrow for their size. I will only need one spot punched - where the bone protrudes on the side of your foot about halfway down on the outside edge.

Seem well built. A little heavy but nothing major. Only thing I wish they had was soft rubber tread but that's minor. My feet are a little narrow but these boots are surprisingly easy to get on/off for a 98.

Comments about Tecnica Inferno Heat Ski Boots 2011:

So...got them on the snow at Stowe, and five stars. Easy on/off for a 98. Flex was perfect for me out of the box, runs true to an average 100 flex. Ran stock footbed and everything all three days and it's far and away the best boot out of the box I've owned.

Only possible con would be that they're a little cold in the heel, but that's fairly normal for a tight 98 last boot.

Hope other companies will catch on with the softer flex 98s. If you want a 98 but don't want a rock hard race flex this or the Blaze is your boot.
