Comments about Salomon X3 100 CS Ski Boots 2012:

This is a good boot for an intermediate skier, or someone who values comfort as much as performance. Compared to other 100 flex boots, this is a slipper.
I also have come to expect a better option for the exterior sole on a boot in this MSRP point. These are one piece moles, which means when the bottom wear from walking, and it will, the boot is no longer serviceable. A boot with a replaceable sole plate at the toe and heel will give you more years of use, an dhre competitors in this category all offer this.

Comments about Salomon X3 100 CS Ski Boots 2012:

My only beef with these is that through the shin/calf area these boots are NARROW. I don't have large calves, so if you have calf implants and/or massive calves, I would recommend going with another boot. I also noticed this about the other Salomon boots in this line.
