Rossignol SAS FS 1 Ski Boots 2009: The Rossignol SAS FS 1 Ski Boots will stomp, slash, tweak, and thrash everything and turn the entire mountain into your personal playground. This is a unique park-specific boot with flex and hold in just the right places while maintaining a soft, absorbing flex.
Materials
The polyurethane shell means this boot is rigid under torsion and flexion for reliable, solid foot support.
Liner
One of the most form-fitting liners out there, the EVA Thermo Moldable liner means that you heat up that bad boy and it’ll form to the unique contours of your foot so you can concentrate more on your skiing than your feet.
Additional Features
Power Strap with 360° Velcro
2 milled Aluminum Micro Buckles: a brand new cable system with 2 powerful tightening buckles for efficient and even foot wrap.
360 ° strap connected to the liner
Cuff Shape
The Rossignol SAS FS 1 comes with a mobile tongue that creates a wide opening in the boot for easy entry, meaning less sweat and frustration when it comes to gearing up. The mobile tongue offers optimal progressive flex and shock dampening when coming in for a landing.
Flex and Fit
The Rossignol SAS FS 1 Ski Boots have a 90 flex rating for freestyle play. The flex is progressive for shock dampening and rebound when jumping and landing.

I went for the first time the other day on my new equipment, these boots made a huge difference in the way I ski. By this, I mean it was easier to ride switch, land switch and recover from high impact landings. I ski in wisconsin so we have tons of pure ice hills, which means our landings are pure ice and impact is rough. Usually I have ankle pain at the end of a session but not with these skis. I also recommend the Line Step Up Skis, create great pop and landing has never been easier.

I was just transitioning into skiing this past year and wanted to buy something affordable because I didn't want to go all out. That was the worst decision I've made. Buying cheap boots is not worth it. If you're trying to save a buck downgrade on your skis, or have a rummage sale. Buying cheap boots is never a good decision, you'll regret it. I was in Breck and Keystone this past winter and I couldn't even ski using this product. I had to go rent because of the poor lining and sizing. My feet are hating me right now. Don't listen to the good reviews on these. I have talked to a lot of people who've used this product and they all say the same thing. Thank you.

Comments about Rossignol SAS FS 1 Ski Boots 2009:

Have yet to use product (will update when do) Appear very solid construction, flex seems a little on the soft side. These boots fit very well and are easy to get in/out of and buckle system is pretty awesome.
Picture listed is not appropriate, actual boot is matte black with gold buckles and designs.

They are good boots, would be awesome if they had a velcro loop at the top of the liner and if the insoles had better arch support (put some aftermarket ones in and they were a lot better).

Comments about Rossignol SAS FS 1 Ski Boots 2009:

Not a bad boot. I'm used to super stiff boots and have been wanting to try a softer boot for park and jumps. The boot is very cushy and the liner is plush and I think you could get shin bang with these. Just not the performance boot for me. ALSO WHITE is not the same as the white camo pictured.

This is a sweet boot, but it is labeled with american sizing. It is true to size. If you wear an 11 1/2, buy an 11 1/2. Do not use a Mondo conversion chart to compare to your current boots. These bots are awesome high performance boots As a side bonus the look SICK!

Comments about Rossignol SAS FS 1 Ski Boots 2009:

Although the boots were a little bit to big I really enjoyed them for the 1 and a half seasons I rode on them. You will almost never get shinbang or toe bang, (Which I was soo stoked on) but there are some things I defintly did not like about them. The buckles started to bend and eventuly broke after 1 season of riding on them hard and they have always seemed a little bit on the heavy side. none the less for this price I wouldn't hesitate to buy these for this price as they are well worth it, just be careful with the buckles and be sure to buckle your boots when you are done with them.

Good quality boots. Excellent price (in outlet) and much better looking in person. Decent flex, but still has a little stiffness to it. I Have wide feet and am still relatively comfortable in these, although I still need to break them in a little bit more. The strap at the top is not very adjustable for guys like me who have thicker legs. Overall I am very happy with my purchase of this boot.
