Comments about Lange Blaster 90 Ski Boots 2012:

Boot has been great for me this year -- just wanted a quality boot for some great skiing. The looks of the boot are great. The liner is moldable, but I elected to just use the boot and over the season the fit just gets better. The flex seems right for someone intermediate to advanced skiers and boot seems very stable. Fit was a little tight at first, but as the boot broke in, it has been very true to size. I am not an expert, but not a beginner either --- boot seemed to do well for me on groomed trails and in the steep powder --- Thanks EVO for a great ski boot at a great price.

Comments about Lange Blaster 90 Ski Boots 2012:

I've been skiing for 47 years. I had my previous boots for 10 years. Skis come and go but I hate to part with my boots. But the moment I put these boots on I knew I made a good choice. For me they fit perfectly. Performance wise they seem fine, though not being a racer, comfort and fit were always the main concern.

Comments about Lange Blaster 90 Ski Boots 2012:

All-American pioneering brand with great race history - Lange ski boots are well-known with their more narrow-fit boots and better performance and appropriate flex for intermediates and above skiing level, compared to their parent company- Rossignol focusing more on comfort with wider feet.

I liked the boots not because is a great color design as many use as a criteria for choosing ski boots. I was attracted by the history of the brand with tradition in this sport where the boots are the most important part of the equipment. On the top - a great discount on sale Holidays price one can't beat.

I had some pressure point on my small right foot toe when I tried for the first time Lange Blaster 90 ski boots (regardless of my otherwise narrow feet). So, I used bootfitter with custom insoles and shim in toe area of the right boot at CA Ski Company-Berkeley in order to avoid this discomfort from the very beginning.

Usually even the right boot size, flex and last can have in the beginning a bit of pressure points, but with usage pressure points discomfort can go away by itself. Since I have risked to get a 1/2-to-a-size up I avoided to thermo-adjust the boot inner and remove the pressure point. Since the boots tend to become larger inside with use especially when the size is already larger than should be - you better get the exact size, but not a size less than your shoes which bootfitters recommend. This is valid rule for professional racer and expert skiers, not for the general ski public! I'll add more details once I used the Lange boot more times.
