Comments about Full Tilt Konflict Ski Boots 2010:

I have had chronic shin bang for the past 5 years. I ski very aggressively and would often have to end my day after just a few runs down the mogul field, one or two flat landings, or ski fast through crud. This shin bag was so bad that I would not be able to put my boots on for a solid week, one bad day would pretty much ruin my ski season.

This year I decided to bite the bullet and try out these boots, it was a risk though cause my foot is wider than these boots recommend. Initially the boots out of the box felt tight, however once I had the intuition liners molded to my foot I was delightfully surprised! The boot liner expanded to my 105mm foot, fits like a glove and performs remarkably!!!

Now to test the ability to thwart my shin bang... I just came back from a 5 day ski trip to Utah! I was worried because typically I would have to baby my skins and take a break after one day, not with these boots. These Full Tilts enabled me to ski as hard and as long as I wished and I am very happy to write that after 5 hard days of skiing bumps, cliffs, crud, and everything in between, my shins are COMPLETELY pain free!!! I read reviews about how these boots are able to prevent shin bang, however I never though that they would work as effectively as they did. I would highly recommend these boots to anyone who suffers with shin bang.

    A couple of notes:

    * When you purchase these boots, make sure that you have the intuition liners molded to your foot (go to your favorite ski shop and to it properly. Baking the liners and having them custom fit to your foot makes these boots perform as described.

    * Performance wise, these boots have a different style of flex that takes a little adjustment. They retain their lateral rigidity while allowing a progressive forward flex. The 8 flex tongues aren't as responsive as my old Solomon x wave 9 boots, but the pain free shins are worth the trade (probably swapping out the 8 for a 10 flex tongue would increase the responsiveness)

After all is said and done, I am in love with these boots, it's obvious why the old Raichle Flexon Comps had such a cult following; these boots are something completely different than the industry standard, they are as comfortable as my street shoes and perform amazingly in any terrain!

Comments about Full Tilt Konflict Ski Boots 2010:

Definitely the lightest boot my foot has ever had the pleasure of knowing, yet they're still stiff enough to get 'er done! I had been riding on some older boots and finally treated myself to an upgrade. The Intuition Liners are unbelievably comfortable...I mean it's almost like wearing tennis shoes on the hill.

However they arent for everyone. If you have a wider foot, they may not work out for you. For you all you skinny footed people out there, prepare to be stoked!
