Dalbello Sherpa 2/8 ID Ski Boots 2013

Developed with all the essential performance features of Dalbello's award winning, 3 piece cabrio-design Krypton Series, the new Sherpa models are designed for big mountain freeriders and alpine touring skiers looking for a touring boot with balanced crossover performance. The Dalbello Sherpa 2/8 ID Ski Boots are engineered for comfort and lightweight handling, with enough power to steer long, wide, modern big mountain skis through the most difficult snow and terrain. Developed under the guidance of legendary extreme skier and mountaineer Glen Plake, the Sherpa 2/8 ID Ski Boots are designed for the skier who spends 20% of their time going uphill and 80% going down.
Fit
Cabrio Design 3 Piece Technology - Cabrio Design permits the use of stiffer and more rigid plastics in the lower shell. This strengthens the support around the foot and lower leg providing quick response and precise transfer of power to the ski edges. This design also prevents the lower shell from distorting and bulging as the boot flexes, making the boot more smooth and stable at high speeds and on irregular terrain. Smooth and progressive forward flex is precisely controlled using an external shell tongue.
Bio-stride stride-double hinge tongue (double hinge/articulating) - Patented, three piece hinging tongue design assembly permits the tongue to follow the movement of the leg throughout its glide/stride/walking range of motion, either forwards or backwards.
100 mm Last - Securely envelopes the anatomical contours of the foot and lower leg for maximum foot retention with enhanced sensitivity and responsiveness
Note - Sherpa Series boots break on the half-size, so the 26.5 and 27.0 boot shells will be the same boot sole length (307 mm).
Liner
ID Thermo Pro Liners - Developed jointly by engineers from Dalbello and Intuition® Sports of Vancouver, Canada, I.D. Thermo Liners are the lightest, warmest and easiest to fit innerboots in the world. Heat molding eliminates relative movement between the liner and shell resulting in improved response and accurate and powerful energy transmission to the ski.
I.D. Thermo Sherpa Flex - No tongue overlapping design provides for easy flex and walking functionality. 10% custom heat moldable Ultralon® foam and HD + Enact™ foam laminates
