Rossignol Axial 2 120 Ski Bindings - The Rossignol Axial 2 120 Ski Binding utilizes sound technology to create the ultimate in performance from a ski binding. The maximum DIN on the Rossignol Axial 2 120 Ski Bindings is 12 which can support just about every all mountain skier out there. The Axial 2 heel is supported by carbon fiber support arms, that transmit energy directly from foot to ski. Like any Rossignol binding, safety is a priority. The Rossignol toe piece is the simplest design out on the market. Less moving parts, less chances for something to go wrong, the Rossignol Axial 2 120 Ski Binding toe offers 180 degrees of full movement for release in all directions. The gliding AFD helps slide the boot out with the least amount of friction. The Rossignol Axial 2 heel offers the most vertical elasticity on the market, meaning you will not experience pre-releases.

Comments about Rossignol Axial 2 120 Ski Bindings (80mm) 2007:

It is a great deal for the money, I know at my work it's a lot more expensive, even with my discount. The design is great, and since I live in Utah if I ever have a problem I can drive the ten miles and Rossignol will replace the part for free. If you don't have that luxury, you can mail it to the warrantee department and they'll replace it. The only problems I have with it are the brakes aren't wide enough for my ski, so I recommend buying the wide binding for twins, which is what I should've done. Also, compared to similar bindings it's pretty heavy, so one might want to look into the Ti version. Other than that, it's a great deal! No pre-releases, unlike marker's bindings where everything [*] ;)

Comments about Rossignol Axial 2 120 Ski Bindings (80mm) 2007:

This is a rock solid binding for a great price.

I used these half of last season, so 20 days and bombed down all sorts of stuff with no problems ( no hucking though ). The only time I ever came out of the binding was when I wasn't paying attention and flew up and over the quarter pipe and fell about 10 feet onto the top.

Unfortunately the binding is beastly heavy.

Comments about Rossignol Axial 2 120 Ski Bindings (80mm) 2007:

Don't misunderstand my review! Evo gear is a fantastic company[...] However, the Rossignol product i bought is not what i was expecting in a binding!! i bought this binding back in February 08. Everything about the binding was great... aesthetics, feel.... seriously, everything. But the construction (plastic mold) of the front plate was not built or molded with care. it disintegrated on the landing of a 12' kicker. I broke my hand due to this mishap. i am not an angry person. I am just upset Rossignol failed me after all these years. if [...] Evogear did replace my gear immediately[*] that it was the same binding.

Comments about Rossignol Axial 2 120 Ski Bindings (80mm) 2007:

Clerk sold me 80mm bindings and said that they could be tweaked out wider to fit 97mm waist ski.

Had to change out brakes before ski shop would approve installation.
