If you were kidnapped under cover of night, taken to an undisclosed location, and told you had a 30 mile ride back home, the Yeti Cycles SB130 T1 Complete Mountain Bike would be the right choice (these imaginary bad guys are forcing you to pick one of a rack full of bikes, as bad guys do. Imaginary villains love complicated schemes). This bike is made form Yeti's highest grade carbon, outfitted for long term performance and durability: an absolutely beautiful workhorse. An SB130 is one of those undeniably perfect bikes, never outshined or outmatched, by its competition or the terrain. It may not be the best choice for a day in the bike park, but it would actually perform very well for a medium-travel bike. This SB is devoid of BS, it's a true ripper.

Internal Cable Routing: This may seem like a small thing, but having a clean aesthetic on the frame along with internally molded carbon tubes inside for hassle-free cable routing is key. It makes for a quiet ride and ease of maintenance. For Yeti, building a great frame is all about the details.
Integrated Axle and Hanger: The integrated axle and derailleur hanger system is built for simplicity and strength. Utilizing a left-hand thread to secure the hanger allows Yeti to incorporate the same machine piece for the axle retention. A clever little system the engineers spent many hours on that might get overlooked.
Integrated Frame Protection: The frame protectors for the down tube and chainstay are custom molded to match the frame. This guarantees a proper fit and adhesion to the frame for years of protection without the need for replacement or additional adhesives.
