Dynafit Titan TF-X Alpine Touring Ski Boots 2013

This boot is the Gold Standard for guys who rip the backcountry as hard as they do the resort. The Dynafit Titan TF-X Alpine Touring Ski Boot is a stiff and burly freeride boot that happens to tour pretty damn well. It comes with two sets of sole blocks, both ISO Touring and ISO Alpine, for those who want to switch between touring and alpine bindings, has 15˚ and 21˚ forward lean options, and comes with a heat moldable TF-X Thermo liner. If you need to tour but can't stand the thought of giving up serious downhill performance, this is the boot for you.

Whether you charge the steepest lines, carve with race-like precision, hit the biggest jumps or halfpipes; advanced to expert level skis/snowboards are for the more aggressive rider. You will often find the addition of layers of metal, carbon, bamboo, or other stringers in these. These features work to make a stiffer ski/snowboard with more power and rebound.

Comments about Dynafit Titan TF-X Alpine Touring Ski Boots 2013:

High cuff, solid, stiff boot. Tours great too. Right out of the box, I took them on a 4 day camp trip up in the snowy Beartooths, and I wasn't the one complaining the loudest about my feet out of the group. There is an obnoxious little strip of thick padding that goes directly over the bump on the outside of my ankle - I don't think that thing fits anybody's foot right. And boy did it hurt after just a few hours of touring. Maybe it'll pack out over time - though I did have the chance to pop the liners in the oven and get a descent form fit before we left.
Overall - good boot. Well played Dynafit.

Comments about Dynafit Titan TF-X Alpine Touring Ski Boots 2013:

Dynafit had no reason to change the Dynafit Titan TF-Xt from 2012 to 2013. This boot fills the market for the backcountry skiier who wants the same downhill performance both in and out of bounds. Some of the best features I found were the high standard cuff and the easily adjustable toe blocks and thermofit liner.
