Comments about Tecnica Cochise 120 Ski Boots 2016:

Great boots. Walk mode isn't great BUT these boots are all about skiing and that's why I bought them. Fit for me was good out of the box. Everything about the liners is designed well. The pre-molded bumpouts in the liner and shell help accomodate ankle bones very well. I dont think i'll need any punches on these in the future. Great heel pocket and they really fit and cinch down well around my foot. I've used this boot for skiing in bounds and short hikes to access stuff like the king at crystal. I probably wouldn't wear them on a touring day but thats why you really just need two pair of boots. I realized this after a couple of years stuffing my foot in a size too small pair of scarpas for both. Im 5' 9" about 180lbs and this boot is perfect stiffness. Flexes well. The 130 version was too tight around my forefoot. I couldn't really tell the difference in flex when trying both on so i'd say it probably comes down to how wide your foot is and if you wanna bother with shell punches. I think my forefoot is right around 100-101mm wide. For comparison scarpas are to sloppy in my heel but this boot is perfect.
