Got a wide foot but need boots that are stiff enough to handle big mountain style skiing? Look no further than the Lange SX 120 Ski Boots. With a 102 mm forefoot last and a retentive ankle and heel pocket, this boot fits a wide array of foot shapes. The mono-injected shell and cuff create an even, responsive 120 flex that accommodates fast, fun skiing. The cozy and precise Control Fit liners make this boot even more appealing.
Last: 102 mm The first and only 102 mm mono-injection boot mold blends high-performance with an accessible fit for all-day comfort. Provides a comfortable, more forgiving forefoot width for higher volume feet while retaining a retentive heel cup.
Control Fit Technology Lange scanned the feet of 20,000 skiers from around the world with a new, state-of-the-art 3D imaging system to develop this combination of shell last and liner execution designed to fit more feet accurately and comfortably. Using this analysis, Lange learned that most skiers benefit from a wider, asymmetrical toe box combined with a slightly narrower, more deeply articulated ankle pocket than is found in competitors' products. The combination of more room in the forefoot and more accuracy in the ankle delivers the best of both worlds: comfort and performance.
Removable Spoiler Allows the skier to increase forward lean by 2° and adjust the volume of the cuff.
Flex: 120 Stiff but not too stiff flex for advanced to expert skiers.
Thermo Fit RL3 Liner Liners are heat moldable and offer increased foot retention to meet the right balance of performance and comfort for every skier type.
Control Fit Liner Designed to provide accurate fit and immediate response, this liner has anatomical padding for strong, comfortable ankle and heel hold. Above the instep, Lange has included a slight pocket for increased circulation and warmth, in addition to a power wedge tongue for enhanced precision and sensitivity. The saddle stitch seams eliminate pressure points and the one-piece toe box allows for greater comfort in the toes.
Custom Tongue Designed with a hollow instep area, this new padded tongue guarantees maximum customization to the skier's instep where circulation is often cut-off and pressure points common. More comfort, more warmth, more control.
Power Wrap Tongue Superior leg wrapping for enhanced precision and sensitivity.
Mono-Injection Injection technology based on the use of a single plastic material. This results in the smoothest flex pattern for ultimate response and feedback, more consistent flex and performance in varying temperatures, and a bootfitter-friendly, easy to modify shell.
Natural Stance This stance compliments modern ski design by providing a neutral and upright stance for more efficient power transfer on modern shaped and rockered skis. This provides less quad fatigue for better, longer ski days. 4° Ramp Angle, 12° Forward Lean (14° with spoiler) and 0° medial / lateral stance.
Twin Cuff Alignment | +/- 1.5° Permits skiers to align the lateral inclination of the upper cuff to the skier’s leg. Outside and inside hinge cuff alignment; rotate the mechanism clockwise, or counterclockwise, to align boot cuff to desired position.

Comments about Lange SX 120 Ski Boots 2016:
I use to race semi pro but have been out of it for sometime, moved to Hawaii, i use to race in a Lange Banshee. I love these SX120, great comfort for all day skiing. Never had to unbuckle boots. Great performance at high speed GS skiing. Highly recommended. Always love Lange ski boots.
Comments about Lange SX 120 Ski Boots 2016:
I am a very aggressive Ease Coast skier and have very wide feet (one wider than the other) and a very tall instep and these are like slippers for me.
I have skied Lange World Cup 120 (Crazy Blue) for the last 5 years and while I love the performance I could not keep them comfortable. After two foot fitting sessions I couldn't ski more than 2-3 days in a row because of the pain points and the limitations on width.(blown them out twice)
I saw these on sale and without ever trying them on purchased them from EVO on the spot.
I skied the am on a cold VT day in firm conditions and at first was not used to the angle and differences to my World Cups. I then traded to the old boots then back again and all I can say I will never put the World Cups on my feet again.
Once adjusted for the stance these boots are like heaven. For the first time in 4 years I skied 4 consecutive days with no issues. There is so much room in the toe box I thought there was something wrong with them. The performance is about 90-95%% to the 120 flex of the World Cups but not that far off.
I still need to get used to the cuff on the shin as it was different than the old boots but getting in and out of them is a breeze, even when frozen solid. The only con I would say is that once in the lodge for a long lunch they need time to stiffen up again once outside.
If you have wide feet and want a performance boot, these are a downright bargain.
