Comments about Atomic Hawx 120 Ski Boots 2013:

The boots ski great. They are perfect for someone that has high insteps that can also be used with custom insoles. I checked out virtually every brand to find a boot that I could get into (those with high insteps will know what I am talking about).

I like a tight upper boot and only looked at 4 buckle boots. Just didn't think the new 3 buckle boots would work for me.

At first I thought the I-flex on both sides of the boot was a gimmick - but gosh darn if it doesn't work! I ski about 100 days a year at Squaw Valley and pretty much stay on the steep trails (Chute, Split Tree, Slot etc). I was amazed on how much edge control these boots provide and I have to contribute it to the I-flex inserts. I turn quicker and with more control on the steeps. I just hope the inserts don't affect boot longevity (my last boots lasted 6 years).

Boots are very comfortable and there is no pain or hot spots after 5-6 hours of daily skiing. I contribute this to the fact that you can heat up the liners for a perfect fit. My boot fitter added a small piece of liner on the top of my foot during the heat fit process to give me a bit more space in the liner - and this really helped on the fit comfort.

I usually don't provide good product reviews but I am so pleased with these boots - I had to submit this. It took me a while to find a boot given my foot configuration - so I figured I would help out guys with similar foot/fit issues. Enjoy
