Imagine if lions had wings... They would be the apex predators of both land and air. We'd probably have to start calling them Bills too, because the Ronix Bill Mute Core Wakeboard is also an impossibly agile killer behind the boat and in the park. It's versatility is a product of Ronix's Mute Core. Starting with a lightweight Paulownia wood, Ronix added some vibration-dampening secret sauce in the tip and tail to calm the chatter of typical wood core boards. They've also wrapped this core with Magic Carpet and Monocoque laminates to strengthen its performance for riders that really put their boards through the wringer -- i.e. the Kinetik Crew. For intermediate to advanced riders that refuse to commit to one discipline of wakeboarding, the Ronix Bill Mute Core Wakeboard does it all with ease.
Continuous – An earlier arc with a mellower degree will have a smoother, more consistent glide up the wake. A rider will be able to carry more speed up the transition and land tricks further out into the flats. Not quite the straight up snap of its counterparts, but a rider will have a faster, more predictable, effortless take off.
G&R Technology – Grip and release channels have all the traction you need without creating unneeded resistance with the water.
Speedwalls – Vertical poured urethane creates more top water speed and a durable bumper from those floating menaces at a cable park.
Mute Core – A wood board without the noise of a wood board. Ronix added poured urethane throughout the tip and tail of the new Bill board. The result is a core that dozes thru the water more than its foam counterpart – but without the chatter of wood.
Paulownia Wood – Made from renewable trees – a cable friendly Paulownia timber delivering a snowboard influenced kick off the wake, and unique ollie and press on rails.
Magic Carpet – Ronix is always sourcing new fiberglass materials trying to find the perfect weave that allows just enough resin to bleed through and adhere to their Magic Carpet.
Monocoque – A wrapped glass from the bottom to the top so the flash line is no longer the weak point of the board -- and is now the strongest. A more durable construction and torsionally stiffer ride.
Sintered Base – The most durable non-stick base material Ronix has ever tested on features, and has increased glide speed on the water. Their exclusive base was formulated from a powder by heating the material in a sintering furnace above its melting point until the particles bond to one another. A higher purity compound that preserves its bond overtime. No obstacle is safe at cable parks with their jib friendly base material.
4 0.8" Asym Fins
4 1" Ramp Fins
M6 Hardware – The Euros have it figured out. A higher thread count means more hold at a shallower depth. So now we can go to thinner profiled boards with a shorter insert without sacrificing boot lock down. The result is boards with more feel and contact on the water.
